My big money league keeper options with the pick/round it would cost to keep each player. Obviously keeping James Conner for a 15th rounder and Michael Thomas for an 8th rounder. This is the last year I can keep Thomas.
I always try to draft him in every league. Such an underrated key to some playoff runs I’ve had when you can get 10+ from your kicker every damn week.
Agreed. A reliable kicker from 40/50 in a good offense is hard to beat. Any time you can get a nice cushion from TE/D/K, you’re gonna win plenty of games. I had Kittle/Bears/Butker-Greg last year and it was great.
Yeah having a consistent Def is definitely huge too and something I’ve struggled with. I had the Chiefs D a few years back where they scored a D/ST touchdown in like 8-9 consecutive weeks and that was huge for my playoff run. Going to try like hell for the Bears D this year a lot earlier than I should.
Pretty much what he dealt with last season. Can't believe Conner has been going in the second in MFL ADP.
I would have Kamara #1 Barkley and McCaff 2-3 just because they wont get a lot of TDs, but dump off kings like last year Zeke 4 or 5 although it just seems like he will do something stupid or the Cowboys will Fuck it up. I think he has a lower floor than the previously mentioned guys. Conner and Damian Williams at 5-6 just because of system and there was no drop off in production when they replaced the starters. I still put Gurley in the first, i dont know where yet. Will wait on camp. No idea what to make of DJ yet. There are a ton of WRs and QBs this year.
Spreadsheet is coming, should have an early draft of it up later today or tomorrow. Most of the projections are in just have to find time for one or two more. Also if anyone has any websites projections they want included just let me know.
I’ve got my first draft that’s for my main league in 3 weeks. I hate early drafts but it’s an in person draft where we meet up in Destin and draft on the beach. Only weekend everybody could do it.
Have the #1 overall pick in one of my drafts. They decided the order two months ago, will draft sometime in august. Told them all I'm drafting Baker. I'm going with Kamara or Nuk
I think the top 4 are some order of Zeke, Saquon, Kamara, or McCaffrey. Regardless of scoring. Obviously if 1/2 or full ppr then Zeke maybe slides a bit down.
In person drafts are great Early ones really suck though, going to be nervous as shit your team gets to week 1 healthy
Traded Thielen for Zeke straight up in the second half of the season. He seemed to catch a lot more balls than I expected.
starting to figure out my 2 keepers in my big money league (PPR). I've got one locked in with James Conner in the 12th round (FA add). My 2nd is between: Darruis Guice - 10th round - not a huge fan with the hamstring tweak, terrible offense and Peterson there Sony Michel - 5th round - love him obviously, but them drafting Harris and White still there to catch all the passes has me concerned Tyler Boyd - 8th round - my leader right now. Have an extra 3rd and 6th round pick this year so might end up trying to deal for a 2nd keeper
This is the first edition of the spreadsheet. Most of the projections are in and with the exception of espn/fantasy guru they will all update themselves if you refresh the connections. Still have to update the consistency ratings and will have the qb bye cheat sheet ready the next post.
How many teams? I think Michel and Boyd, at those values, is a coin flip. I'm staying away from Guice.
In my dynasty league we’ve been having a slow draft. My 3 draft picks so far: RB Darrell Henderson (I have Gurley) RB Trayveon Williams WR Hakeem Butler Rest of my team before the veteran draft: QB: Tom Brady RB: Todd Gurley, Aaron Jones, Derrius Guice, Matt Breida, Leveon Bell WR: Julian Edelman, Courtland Sutton TE: Jimmy Graham, Dallas Goedert
Isabella was taken right before I took Butler. Hoping that frame makes him a big redzone target. I’m gonna go big in the veteran auction draft at WR and QB.
12. yeah that's where I'm at, but leaning Boyd because of the PPR aspect and worry Sony won't get many receptions & Harris taking value. Probably going to look to make a deal with someone who has a good keeper leveraging my extra 3rd and 6th round picks. I have 1st pick which will be Zeke or David Johnson, so starting off with 1 of those and James Conner.
Early or late Kamara + Thielen, or Mike Thomas + James Conner. Still trying to figure out which is better
Avoiding all things Oakland. Bengals are gonna be fucked with Boling retiring and Willams being out for the year. That OL was atrocious last year and will be worse now. The Dolphins and Bills will be really bad. Don't think the Bills have a starter i would even roster. I'm wondering about the Jets. Darnold and LeVeon could have big years. Whoever wins that WR2 job in PIT could be huge.
If LeVeon falls to the second I’d consider him. Otherwise I probably will be staying away from him. I just don’t feel great about an Adam Gase coached team.
I agree and I think Bell getting paid will make him a fat lazy ass. Think he is due for a year long suspension the next time he messes up, too. there will be a lot of shifting once camp starts and we find out who some starters are. GB, Minny, KC, Rams, Ravens, Texans all have competitions at RB.
We’re in the midst of going thru a commish change and the owners are voting whether to stay a standard scoring or a ppr format. Hoping we stay standard because I seem to do better at those.
Agreed regarding PIT’s no. 2. James Washington and Dante Moncrief both appear to be pretty cheap as of now, and are worth a round 10 dart throw.
Same goes for Geronimo Allison and MVS. Maybe their draft price will rise in the weeks to come, but being able to grab either of them in round 9 seems like a value.
I went with Allison last year and it never really paid off the way I expected it would. I figured the WR2 in that offense would be consistent and it wasnt. Adams was better than expected, but no one else in that offense has any consistency.
They have a completely different coach this year, so who knows. I still like the WR2 upside on a team with Rodgers at QB. I’d snag either of them in round ~10 or higher.
