Yeah probably still need to put a price enforcing bid on at the minimum.
Nothing about fantasy football ever makes sense.
Want to see a dead body?
Also, since I am obviously first in line for the waiver wire, who is the best p/u this week?
Lost both of my games by a combined 2.49 (including one by .44). Fantasy football is dumb.
Holding out hope that Sermon becomes the guy in SF.
Elijah Mitchell on SF
Yeah me too. Probably going to keep him on my bench for a few weeks and see what happens before I drop him
Oh me too. I have him in multiple leagues plus Javonte Williams.
Leaning between him or Kirk. AJ Green is washed and I think Kirk is going to put up solid numbers.
Definitely a risk. As a McKinnon/Hasty owner last year I know the struggle can be real trying to figure out who's gonna get touches. But man it's usually good when it's your guy.
man, that's rough
i'm happy i stashed Jeff wilson on IR
#1 on a waiver wire.. Elijah Mitchell COME ON DOWN
Superflex, .5 PPR dynasty league.
Being offered Saquon Barkley for Ja’Marr Chase essentially straight up (I was asked what throw in I would like). Thoughts?
I think Barkley is a gamble, but I am pretty deep at WR and have dogshit at RB, especially now that Mostert is done for the year.
i’d have a really tough time turning that down
Going with Mitchell.
At some point Jason Garrett will get fired and they will get Barkley the ball in space, the only real risk is another knee injury
Unless you straight up believe in a jinx, the 9ers may wanna re-evaluate their entire training and strength staff/program. Team was decimated last year, three years, and just lost two starters in game one. Yikes.
In a dynasty league, we poach taxi players. Would y’all give up a mid to late second round pick next year for gainwell?
Really torn about waivers this week and I once again come back to the thread for advice because I think I'm overthinking.
I'm 3rd on the waiver lineup, guys 1 and 2 aren't SUPER active.
My QB is Fitzpatrick. Jameis is available and I think I should maybe take him.
Obviously Elijah Mitchell is target #1 for most everyone. My RB's are McCaffery/Sanders/RoJo/Drake so I feel somewhat comfortable there.
My TE is Gerald Everett and Jared Cook is available.
It wouldn't surprise me to see one of the guys behind me grab Jameis although nobody else really needs a QB. If I get Mitchell I could probably use him as trade bait to upgrade the QB or TE spot. Big Ben/Goff/Darnold/Cousins/Bridgewater are available.
You’re fine at RB and I don’t think Mitchell is necessarily a must add guy. I’d go for Jameis.
I say grab Mitchell. Potential trade bait. He’s valuable right now as the #1 waiver pick up. You can stream QB’s until you figure it out.
He looked good but anyone will against the Falcons
Leftovers this morning are Latavious, Patterson, and Gainwell. Thoughts on dropping my second D for one bc my backs are kinda shit and I lost Mostert.
Definitely do this. Don't roster 2 defenses.
I have Tyson Williams. Is wanting Patterson over Murray idiotic?
Would you rather have Drake or Jamaal Williams in 1/2 ppr? I have Swift on my roster already.
this is craziness. how much did eli go for in ya’lls leagues
I think this is pretty silly considering Jeff Wilson will be back and no one knows what they have with sermon other than being in the dog house (still talented).
Yup. I'm laughably thin at RB after just losing Mostert and bid around half what he actually went for. It was one week where he came in for an injured player. Who knows what an actually prepared-for game script will look like.
He went for $33 in one of my leagues.
$54. I bid $40.
Shoutout to anybody else who got Tim Patrick to replace Jeudy. Hoping he has WR3 upside with Jeudy out.
I got some stat correction and won the one I lost by .44
who are your WR’s that you feel the need to get tim patrick?
50 in my work league. 45 in my serious league. FAAB budget of $100 in each.
Grabbed him for $10 FAAB (didnt own Jeudy) and Mark Ingram for $20 FAAB. Feel pretty good about that.
I start Jefferson and Lockett in my 2 WR spots, my league has WR/TE and WR/RB flex spots as well. I start Deebo in the WR/TE spot, and am currently rostering Patrick, Rondale Moore, and Curtis Samuel and Jeudy (both taking up my 2 IR spots). Before the Jeudy injury, I planned to rotate Deebo, Jeudy, and Ty'Son Williams in the WR/RB flex spot. I'm trying to compile some more bodies in case Ty'Son isn't playable in a couple weeks.
Marquez Callaway (who I dropped for Tim Patrick)
will be interesting to revisit this later on. i remember people blowing their faab loads on Benny snell and Hines last year
Is Curtis Samuel worth picking up with Fitz out? I feel pretty good about my WR depth on both my teams.
I spent like $70 the year Tarik Cohen went ham in week 1 and then didnt do shit the rest of the season... i was desperate for a RB and I learned a valuable lesson that year
A career mediocre receiver with a groin injury on IR that will eventually come back to catch passes from a bad QB? Sure, if you've got room.
$45 and $75 in my two auction waiver leagues with $100 season salaries
Hines was good PPR value all year last year.
