Hey successful tennis player, do you have any advice to give this successful driver.
McLaren needs to talk Gulf into being main sponsor again. That livery is just the best.
The only thing the 2 sports have in common is rich people tend to like both. That's it.
nascar is about to start at COTAS
True, could’ve had Valtteri’s front right wheel nut
i missed cry baby Hamilton. It had gone away during his unchallenged run the last few years. But today he’s bitching was vintage
F1: rain? Toss on some inters and get in there
Rinse and repeat for all the best players in their sports. LeBron, Crosby, Brady, Rodgers, etc
No longer in last on the fantasy
New cars won't be enough to make this an actual race. Monaco will forever be decided in qualifying, reliability, and a little bit of pit strategy/luck.
His image was likely helped by being the more likeable of the two with Rosberg. Then from there everything has been easy.
Spain and Monaco back to back is not ideal
Even though the race sucks I still love watching/listening to cars drive in that setting. Usually this race falls under Memorial Day weekend so it's good to have on in the background and not have to be glued to it.
The Stroll cut in the tv feed has generated just incredible memes
Read that Monaco is the one race in the calendar where a local production crew works the race. Some sort of perk for the Kings cousin or something. There’s a different British feed out there that ripped into the crew just after that cut to replay.
They also mentioned it quite a few times during the broadcast haha. You could tell the announcers were so pissed
she’s the bigger star. Sorry Max
You know she was pissed that Lewis didn’t win
Dumbest image and message I've seen in some time. It's like one of those email forwards that old people used to send to everyone they know.
I'm not superstitious, but damn Leclerc
He even DNF'ed his two F2 appearances there.
You don't need to turn it upside down to be more compelling. You need a handful of moments, that's it.
Dumb memes like this always make me lose my shit
Serviced the ERS on my golf cart today. I'm basically an F1 mechanic now.
Should close that 2 second gap within 5 holes and then have a chance for a pass.
My tires are gone Bono
To whoever posted the Mercedes debrief videos in this thread, thanks. They continue to fascinate me.
Lot of good stuff in this one from Monaco, call it excuse making or what have you, but the bit about Verstappen maintaining a certain gap to eliminate pit windows for others (subsequently helping enable Perez's overcut) was really fascinating. Whether that's revisionist propaganda or a strategic stroke of genius from RB I suppose we'll never know, but it was certainly interesting to hear. (relevant part starts around 2:45)
Man they were tossing out all the bullshit even throwing Bottas under the bus and slowing down the field because of the tires going away...
Interesting considering the countries they race in
At the French GP, not any of these perhaps more socially conservative locales.
I was going to say...
Pick and choose where they will virtue signal at...
Hope Baku is interesting but I'm thinking it's going to be a standard Merc 1-2 finish. Could be an interesting fight in the midfield though.
Leclerc can’t stop crashing in practice
No Singapore this year
Extremely likely that they’ll do a second race in the US. Look to them doing it at Indy
Believe they’re discussing Austin doubleheader. F1 at an oval no thanks
There’s an FIA tier 1 race track at Indy as well. One they just renovated too so it only uses the front straight
Well I stand corrected. Did not know that!
Indy and F1 have said they haven’t spoken yet about going there this year.
I wonder if Brazil is another race that might be up in the air as well. So two in Austin make the most sense to cover that contingency (especially considering they’ll be able to do a full house) If they’re looking to do something separate than that then I personally think the sport could really benefit from a successful return to Indy.
Shame it ended that way for TSU in his first Q3.
