saw a lot of internet belly-aching from Braves fans regarding the umps last night. Low and behold he missed 5 calls all night
if anything, being on the wrong end of a few bad games should make it easier to spot a good game like last night.
I was reading an MLBpipeline story on Tigers' prospects in the AFL and came across this... The parents named two of their sons the exact same name with the exact same spelling?
I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with 2 of Jose Cruz's 3 sons over the last 20+ years and all 3 have the first name Jose, just different middle names. And sadly, the other son is estranged from the family and hasn't been heard from since an accident in 2006.
Think this could be a precursor to Ron Washington with the A's. He has been there before and they apparently are a fan.
had no idea about the Boston/Tammany Hall connection to the name. isn't Tammany Hall a New York thing though?
I’ve venture to guess about 50% of white people lie about their lineage. The ironic part about it is there’s a reason for it. That reason generally boiled down to oppression and stereotypes when their great grandparents were alive.
Well he is going to end up with the White Sox, which if I recall correctly, is your new home, so you’re not wrong
I don’t know what weather pattern we have today this week but it’s fucking bizarre. Rain is moving in directions I’ve never seen before. Houston gonna make Anderson throw.
I just had a nice 15 minute walk in the rain on the way back from a volleyball game I was too high to drive to. Good day of women's sports for me
enjoyed watching Ian Anderson hit in that high-leverage spot, that's what real baseball fans want to see
