Buck is a bit behind the times and I would be happy he is no longer broadcasting games. That said I think he is way better than Ausmus and it could be much worse. Especially if the Mets are giving him an older roster to work with and not having to being along a young group.
I wouldn't want either, but I would agree that I can at least see an argument for why you'd want experience and go with Buck. Ausmus getting three cracks at this in this short a period would be weird.
this is basically a Rorschach test for the current impasse. Players will look at it and ask why the hell their salaries are decreasing. Owners will look at it and complain that players still take a greater percentage of revenue than any other major US sport.
Shit I didn't see this a couple days ago. Apparently Tatis was in an accident in the DR? His dad saying he's fine just some scrapes, but jesus man put this guy in a bubble till whenever next season starts
Spent 4 months there this winter. It’s ridiculous. You’ve got donkeys, horses, tractors, ATVs, 80s pickup trucks with 14 people in it, motocross and cars all sharing highways. Some absolutelt terrible roads as soon as you leave the highways/city centres too. Literal craters.
Mets fans absorbing wisdom from the guy that went with Ubaldo Jimenez in extra innings instead of the best reliever on the planet at the time to lose a wild card game.
Interesting stuff, if we ever get to see baseball again https://www.sporttechie.com/longbal...-have-the-numbers-to-back-the-data-science-up
If you changed “healthy” to “motivated and not a piece of shit”, the easiest answer of all time is Raul Mondesi.
