Day is incredibly whiny but is objectively a much better coach than Kirby (who is also whiny). I think Day is much more likely to win a natty than Kirby once football restarts.

He decided he wanted to go to Northwestern for the academics I'm not sure why OSU fans are mad at Webb for the Edwards stuff. Whether it's true or not, it clearly came from Edwards' camp/coach. Webb is annoying and maybe the Edwards thing didn't play out the way Edwards says it did, but seems like he's the guy you have the issue with more than Webb. Webb just wrote what they told him.
Of course he plays to his audience. It's part of what makes him really annoying. That doesn't mean he made up the Edwards stuff. Edwards' HC responded to Webb's tweet about the story saying it was accurate. He's got a relationship with that coach, and he clearly got it from that side. I don't think it's that complicated.
