Looks like I had my Oklahoma pick in a month before all the “lead experts.” SAD
I have no clue these days. Think it’s more of a PrinceWimbley question.
By the end of the year, yes. And I’m one of, if not the, biggest Mac supporters in our thread.
Assuming this is in regards to Caleb? I appreciate your help
Yes. But honestly I think the chances with Egbuka are being exaggerated a bit. We’ll see though.
*But that’s mostly just based on the bullshit Drumm says. No clue what other OU guys have reported.
Asking a freshman to put up the numbers he'll have to win shootouts seems dangerous but I'll defer to Saban
Going to be between us and yall. Tread lightly friend
Makes it a lot easier when there’s an elite OL and ground game to protect him. Tua was the best option the moment he stepped on campus, so there’s recent precedent. Not having spring ball obviously hurts Bryce, but if he’s as good as everything that’s been reported it’s just a matter of time.
Tua also had a better defense to lean on
Definitely (though he only had to lean on them for a half), but assuming we stay healthy I think we all expect a sizable jump on that side of the ball. Saban obviously sees something in Golding...or he’s fucking senile.
Bryce Young is just Trevor Lawrence mixed in with Deshaun Watson
Bryce Young will put up better numbers than Tua did
PUT SOME MONEY ON THAT
I’m starting to like this Lenin guy
yes, like southlick said, we are taking Ian Jackson and it will probably be soon.
vs. The Guy She Tells You Not To Worry About
Still won’t get half the points of Fong on your pick!
He hasn’t been good...but he’s got some plausible deniability, we’ve been young up front.
Still, when a senior secondary looks lost that ain’t good. He tends to be conservative, we got used to aggressiveness under Pruitt.
Charlie Strong is waiting in the wings, this is a make or break year
Yes please we will take Leigh and we are close to home.
WR JJ Jones to UNC
Haha, what recruit was this? Jantzen Dunn?
This was today in reference to Goodwine. It just looks familiar because he does it so much. I deleted it, as iv’e probably done too much ranting about it already.
I've never had a sub at 247 so I don't typically get to read his 'notes'. That's amazing content from this side of the glass.
The soonerscoop guys had said, a few days ago, that OU and Goodwine hadn't talked in a while. Pretty much left it at that. Someone posted on the Goodwine screenshot today and the mods remained silent and didn't change their tune.
They apparently have different sources
Drumm is worse than Tom Loy
David Abiara flipping from ND to OU?
OU does love them some North Texas softies
That’s weird, when we were looking at him I thought some thought he was too aggressive and could be vulnerable from blitzing. Over correction?
mack steals another one from uga
luckily for all you broke bois, that completes our wr class so we won’t have to keep steal receivers from people
Honestly wasn't aware that was his reputation prior to coming in, all we heard was that Sabes was a fan. The only possible excuse is that maybe he didn't trust the front seven and laid back but two years in a row in big moments we have refused to attack it seems like.
As I mentioned in the prior posts, we did hemorrhage defensive players to the NFL in '16 * '17 and the '18 class turned out to be the biggest dud since probably the '11 class which crippled us in 2013/2014. So this year is make or break....if we lose to UGA in a high scoring game in game 3 with a transfer QB, the pitchforks will be out I think.
As it should since the QB is coming from lowly Wake Forest and never did anything against the 1 team in the ACC with a pulse. Also, we have a new OC as well which is usually a tough transition in it's first year.
We'll see. Defense travels well and you guys have alot of it. I agree though, it is ours to lose especially in Tuscaloosa. Every position group on offense (even QB) brings back a ton of experience and we've got system continuity from Sark coming back.
The issue is we're still so young up front defensively. The rising sophomore class (2019) was expected to have to step up and carry alot of the defensive load so missing Spring hurts alot there. If ya'll put up 30+, Golding will get a brick through his window (probably not, but you know - metaphor).
I just remember cause mike Stoops is the least aggressive DC of all time, 9 yard cushions on 3rd and short type of shit.
when he was on the list they did an evaluation of his UTEP defenses and the blitz rate was crazy and seemed aggressive overall and got everyone hot and bothered
yeah his measurables are very good but considering how highly ranked and recruited he is I was kinda disappointed in those highlights
Him and Arnold are both in the same boat
But Sorey plays against nothin but Corey Haims and Arnold couldnt crack the starting lineup at FSU high
That said please halubamma tell them to stay with mama
The younger Sorey is gonna be the superstar
Wasn't Mike on Bama's staff last year? Whammy described his style to a ti.
He was the yearly rehab off the field coach take last season. This year, it's Charlie Strong.
14 3 stars now
Good to see Captain Jeremy finally got the memo on Hudson Wolfe.
Vols are back
24 commits in May
23 if you count Wilcoxson.
I think this thread might fold up shop the day Wilcoxson opens his recruitment back up.
the angry vol fans who will be blindsided by it will be amazing
The next one... Then the one after that... Then so on and so forth.
But really it's about watching the Vol fans on Twitter. I think that's the past time we all deserve.
