Hard to blame the agent, the Cavs are a mess but maybe he isn't aware that Detroit is dog shit too?
Cursed franchise, as long as Martins is employed we deserve this
It’s a god damn nightmare, fuck we suck
Are they though? After a long time, they seem to have the FO straightened out and be out from horrible contracts. Probably ready to take a solid step forward after a masterful tank paid off.
Kevin Love is making 30 mil through 2023
Yes. That roster is real bad.
And they’re talking about bouncing Altman.
The Pistons have two first team all rookies, another rookie with more potential than either of those two but was hurt most of the year, Jerami Grant on a reasonable contract and now Cunningham. That roster is flipping quickly.
Sorry I was unclear. I was replying to Corch saying "Det is dog shit too" and referring to the Piston's prospects.
100% agree that Cavs are still in Fucked Town.
Heat are at 33 I believe. Also have never moved up in the lotto if I'm remembering it right.
latest KO'C mock
jalen johnson is a loser and a quitter and i dont want him at 11 ty
idk man are you sure you dont want a "bigger rj barrett"
Poor magic fans
Most mocks I’ve seen have them taking some combination of kuminga, barnes, and Keon johnson
Keon Johnson measured at 6'3.5" yesterday at the combine. Considering he can't really do anything right now from a skill standpoint, I don't think he'll end up in the the lottery a month from now.
I've already planted my flag on Scottie Barnes or whoever in the big 5 slips if something weird happens for pick 6. I'm ok with this.
Sharife Cooper to the Lakers
Yeah, let's develop Keon Johnson with Fultz, Anthony, and RJ Hampton in the backcourt
I'd disagree. Last year was the only year the Wolves have ever moved up in the lottery in their history (went from 3 to 1), and even in that case, they shared the same odds with the team with the worst record.
They've had the worst record three times in their history. They got the top pick in Towns with one of them, but in the others, they fell from 1 to 3 the year that Shaq and Mourning went in the top two (Wolves got Laettner) and the other one Kyrie went first and the Wolves got Derrick Williams at pick 2.
This kind of misses the point of the lottery, though. Minnesota had the worst record when you got Towns, but they only had a 25% chance of getting it and he was considered a once every 3-5 years type pick. Getting in the top 3 of the lottery (now top 4) no matter where you finished is a big deal and not unlucky if you "only" go to #2 or 3. That's not "not moving up," to me. Orlando has been in the lottery how many times in the last decade and has never gotten into the top 3. Prior last night, Detroit was in the lottery 8 times since 2010 (5x with top 8 odds) and never moved into the top 3.
jalen suggs does give off a Canadian vibe to him
1st round lets go
He passes the name test
Pearl having two potential first round picks and still only scratching out a 13-14 record is always good for a laugh
That sure is something
Holy shit a 4 foot vert?
sure fire magic pick now
Somewhat related, ive seen the guy play at least two dozen times and didn’t realize he’s only 6 feet tall.
Pons is the most outrageous athlete I’ve ever seen at UT. If he was born in America he’d have won a couple titles at Alabama, and have made the pro bowl last year.
Fuck me. Lock him in at 5
Are we sure he is human and not like one of them hybrids from Sweet Tooth?
RIP to Kenny Gregory's 20 year old combine vertical record.
He’ll probably have a longer career, be healthier and make more money by playing hoops though
yes please sneak in the top 4
Gonna go 10/7/4 on 39% shooting
I haven't seen Pons getting drafted in many mocks. Seems weird because he'd immediately be an elite on ball defender in the NBA. He isn't a good shooter, but seems worth a second round pick over whatever random tall 19 year old Moldova has produced.
Honestly, think he'd be an elite NFL tight end. But he is an interesting guy who got married a year after moving from France to Knoxville and loves playing the saxophone.
just another Top 5 pick who came off the bench at FSU
I can't comment on the particulars of FSU rotations, but sometimes it's a matter of roles and roster construction. Duncan Robinson came off the bench plenty at Michigan and I wouldn't second guess it because he's been successful in the NBA.
Maybe Leonard is a secret genius?
Narrator: he's not.
just give me this
NCAA cost him landing in the lottery
Updated Orlando wishlist:
1. One of the top 4 if they drop (Cade/Mobley/Green/Suggs)
That spin move at 55ish second is very nice.
He’s the best ballhandler and passer in the draft. I wish he would have stuck around another year because we barely got to see him play this year.
