It's just weird to mock a QB to Atlanta at 4, but then have Fields skip over Detroit, Carolina, Denver, NYG, SF and Minnesota.
Just read Watson might ask for a trade, if you are Jacksonville or Jets would you trade 1 or 2 for him?
Agreed. Lawrence at 1 but I’d probably take Deshaun over fields and definitely over any of the other qbs
Nah, I’d trade the 1st for him. Bird in hand and whatnot for a 25 year old QB who is absolutely elite. Those guys never hit the market.
I think the only argument against it is Lawrence won't make the huge money until his extension after year 3 or 4. Watson is going to count a lot more against your cap as you're trying to build up the roster the next few years because he already got his extension.
not for the Texans. If they’re doing that deal, they surely want another qb and the 12th pick doesn’t do that.
would Miami make sense. They have immense draft capital, cap space and a QB they can include going back to Houston. That seems like a fantastic landing spot.
Tua, the 3, and like a 2nd is fair imo Texans can trade the 3 for a couple more firsts and actually have a chance in 2022
I could see something like this taking place. And yes moving from 3 down once or even twice and gaining draft capital for not only this class but others down the road could go a long way to solving a fucking horrible situation in Houston.
I used to teach test prep and one of the tricks was anytime an answer has the words ever or never you can ignore it because it's wrong. Glad to see that rule still holds true.
jeez if Watson can get traded out of the Titans division that'd be pretty sweet. Would love to see him in Shanahan's offense
