I've definitely noticed that with guys like Jay Tufele, as I hope GB addresses the DL early this year. I've seen him in 1st round mocks and I've seen him (as Brugler has him) much lower. I haven't paid as much attention to other positions but I feel like at least at OL there is much more consensus
I think people are going to all over the board on guys like Tufele who sat out the season but aren't in the class of guys like Chase and Parsons who are going to be top 10-12 picks anyway.
This tweet is of interest to me as a fan of the team with the worst LB group I have ever seen the last 2-3 years. Not sure what to make of Parsons or Owusu-Koramoah. I'm kind of all in on Collins and Surratt, though.
JOK needs to be put into the right situation IMO being a tweener. I wouldn't start there with him building a defense. If you are stout up front and have a dc that uses a lot of sub packages that will deploy him wisely he could be very good.
I haven't seen very many PSU games over the years. From what I've read though it seems like most people feel like Parsons checks every box as a modern LB. I know a lot of Miami fans are all about him at #3. That's rich for a LB to me but maybe something Detroit considers at 7 if the LB situation there is that bad.
Would be incredibly stupid to take Parsons over Sewell at 3. Trade down if you want him, could get a very good return for that pick.

Some players I chose to not rank till I got some pro day stuff along with some analytical data. Trying to avoid the Hollyfield RB1 thing again :D
That kind of speaks to the variance of the grading of the position discussed earlier. If no one else is worthy of 30-32, probably means there is options at 62-64 or 3rd round to address the position. Really QB is the only position that is impossible, I don't envision LB or S being of value there. But everything else is in play there. (Yes even RB if both Jones and Williams don't come back)
I think the window for both Nixon and Barmore is likely 25-35 Either in GB would be a nice addition Jay Tufele Jaylen Twyman Marvin Wilson Alim McNeill Are guys you could see mid to late 2nd round and into the 3rd. I don't think the IDL is very strong this year. Nixon and Barmore are the prime guys
Again these rankings will be fluid. Still waiting on pro-days and also still have a lot of senior year data that I haven't gotten to. I just wanted to get what I had early out.
Don’t sleep on Tommy Togiai at IDL. TDN has him going round 2-early round 3 in most of their simulations.
I would If I had to guess, his testing numbers and production this season will move him into the second round.
Parsons and Sewell are the two super blue chip players this class that are worthy of top 5 picks if you don't pick QB. They are the Chase Young and Nick Bosa's of the class. I don't think you draft him to be just a MLB, but a stand up LB that then plays Edge on passing downs.
This is part of why I don't know what I'm supposed to think about him. There's been some immaturity stuff about him since he was a recruit, and some of the allegations makes him look really bad. at the same time, some of those allegations don't make a ton of sense, either.
I do think he's matured a lot. even though he opted out for what would have been his third year in school, he graduated this fall. I don't know what did or didn't happen during that incident back in 2018, but I do know that when he first enrolled in school, nobody thought he was going to be a guy who graduated in three years. that's not to say if he did haze Humphries he shouldn't be held accountable just because he matured, but I don't know if I expect NFL franchises to be the ones to punish him given the track record of what most of them are willing to put up with if you're good at football.
The hazing stuff is just so weird to me because Humphries and Parsons were in the same class. If he did haze him, that's just weird to me (for reasons that go beyond the normal weirdness).
yea I'm not sure what to make of it. I know he wasn't the main player the way Parsons seems to be, but Gross-Matos was named as well and it didn't seem to affect him in the draft.
I'm very interested to see this in the future. Idk if he held the ball because he was waiting for a big play to open up, or because he was afraid to force something. I think all us fans wanted him to just throw the ball away mannnny of times.
Interesting that Thomas Graham and Brady Breeze both opted out and aren't on that list. Thought Graham was getting a 1st round grade.
