how close is Jason Kelce getting ot HOF status? (in my mind he's already there but I'm admittedly bias)
I have Kelce seventh on my list of centers all time. Could move up as high as sixth with a strong 2022.
fwiw, he's the 11th center to make four all-pro teams. the other ten are all in the HOF. across all linemen, 53 have made four all-pro teams and of the 50 who are eligible, 44 are in the HOF.
Some day for Hall of Fame consideration Quentin Nelson is going to include 2021 as an all pro year but suggesting he was a top 2 guard this year is pretty absurd.
The way Josh runs, I’ve been expecting him to take over via injury at some point this season. way too overqualified to be a backup without getting another shot to start first. Problem is, I doubt any good team/offense gives him a shot. I expect him to be somewhere like Goff on the lions this year
It would be interesting if Dabol gets a job at a place with a shitty QB if they traded for Mitch. Or watch LaFleur turn him into an MVP after Rodgers leaves/retires.
Roquan is in LaVonte David treatment. He’ll make more all-pro’s than Pro-Bowls when it’s done. Thanks PFF!!!
Since RB was unanimous and it’s a single position unlike WR there were literally no votes for anyone else.
Nagy’s offense and Mitch were the tits till Phillips completely dissected Nagy’s entire scheme year 1. Most “offensive geniuses” would adjust, Nagy…nothing left. I don’t remember the Packers DC but after they opened the 2019 he literally laughed at the presser because after the 2nd play he realized Nagy had changed his shit ass playbook and they knew every play before they ran it. It was always Mitches fault…then Chase’s fault, then Nick’s fault, then Dalton’s fault, then Justin’s fault…
Robert Quinn seems like a heck of a story. Had 19 sacks and was first team way back in 2013. Then at 31 he nearly matches that personal season high? What a freak Meanwhile Mack seems to have regressed to the point he's pretty forgettable
Cam Heyward seems more deserving than a lot of Pittsburgh hall of famers, he's aging incredibly. Can he keep it up, guessing he'll be one of those incredibly close to HOF types.
Mack has been destroyed by injuries. They always list little things here and there since ‘19 but I think his back has been blown and he’s ultimately done unfortunately. As far as Quinn, some foot doctor was going off on Bears twitter last year saying his injury last year would lead to a huge break out this year. I rolled my eyes but foot guy was right. In some distant reality I get to watch a healthy Mack who can destroy and beat 3 blockers and a healthy Hicks who can destroy and beat 2 blockers rush across from a 2021 Quinn whose speed rush is unblockable. Alas, we do not live in that reality.
Esp when you consider he overcame brain cancer or some such. I'm surprised he's still playing; that was back in the Carlos Dunlap days. But yeah we were pissed he didn't stay home with the Gamecocks
he’d be more likely to be on the sidelines of a sc game than unc at this point thanks baddour and thorp
Are these teams tweeting out who they interviewed just to get ahead of any rumors, etc? I don’t remember that being a thing until the last few years.
So the lesson this person wants to teach is the only way to have credibility as an analyst is to never actually work in the league you cover.
Yeah, but they wouldn't have ended up with a head coach with a nickname of the Riverboat Ron. It's both cheeky and fun.
I think that's a pretty absurd take. The draft coverage is lined up with failed scouts and executives. If he wants to go back to NFL Network they will welcome him back in with wide open arms. If anything, he now has more insight after being a GM.
Or because you failed or had some failures you are no longer allowed to have an opinion tough criteria
I was just kind of shocked that he went in that hard on him. Wonder what transpired for Dov to pump that out. Delusional Dov or was Mayock acting like a gigantic cock? Or both?
to boot, he has maybe whiffed on a bunch of high draft picks but he has done pretty well in the later rounds, dont think net-net he did that bad.
I have no idea who Dov Kleiman is. I see his stuff posted in NFL threads from time to time but that's it.
