this seems like a pretty big deal but it's Baltimore so I'm sure everything will work itself out because they're such a good organization
Several RTs in the league are making $16-18M a year now. It's not as much as Bakhtiari or Tunsil, but those deals are newer and a RT can probably get somewhere near that range. That seems like a dumb thing to be that set on at this point.
RT's are definitely much closer to LT's in value than they used to be. I don't know what Brown's contract looks like or the Ravens cap but I'm sure if the Ravens were to offer him top tackle money, he'd be fine playing RT.
Juju seems like the exact opposite of what the Raiders need. They already have a fast guy that plays in the slot.
What’s the expected asking price for Brown? Wouldn’t be upset to see the Colts make a move for him if something like a 2nd gets it done
Football coaching/S&C hires are weird and some of them work/don't work for reasons I'll never understand. That said, the staff Urban has hired is very underwhelming compared to what I figured he would put together if he was going to do this. From the GM to the coordinators, and all the way down the list, really.
Speaking of questionable coaching staff hires Maybe he got it together since then. Glad for Hankerson though.
this letting a cult leader run the franchise thing doesnt seem like its working out. still time to turn this thing around but early returns arent great
i imagine that letting your best player ever walk for absolutely nothing because he hates your owner won’t sit well with the fans
I’m not saying this is the intention behind it, but the optics of how they handled Watt vs Watson doesn’t look too great.
the texans bungled this move like they have every other move over the last 18 months. here is why it was a good thing:
well, one is an elite qb and the other is an aging de with health problems i don’t like the texans but it’s not remotely the same
