Everything I've read said his bat speed is slowing down. He hasn't changed his approach at all though. Just keeps hitting into the shift when he makes contact.

What the fuck happened to Watson? It seemed he went from relief, to closer, to bust in such a hurry.

 

I get not knowing if they are sellers or not only because outside of cutch who would they sell that would bring any value back? Looking at guys like Jaso I guess, which won't bring back much.

 

His arm is shot. He was overused.

I'll never complain about 3 walk-offs in a row against Milwaukee, and I pray for a fourth.

I wonder if we will be seeing Steven Brault back in Pittsburgh soon. I don't have confidence in Kuhl or Trevor Williams carrying us through the dog days of August and Brault has been magnificent in Indy this year.

I think they'll be active tomorrow but I don't see them making any big moves. Maybe move Watson. Maybe move Nicasio. Maybe get an outfielder. Probably nothing huge

Yeah pretty much. I'd like to see them get a controllable 2nd or 3rd baseman. I highly doubt that happens though.
