So UF has shown they can be a dominant top school, they are in an elite state for talent. So I assume you believe Mullen is an elite coach who can win multiple championships
He only has 3 years left on his contract, Stricklin wisely called Sexton's lazy ridiculous bluffs involving NFL interest. He's either getting an extension during/after the season or he'll be fired, I don't think it's realistic for a head coach to only have 2 years left on a deal. If it comes down solely to finances and things go south it'd make all kinds of sense to fire him after this year. I think he wins enough (9 games) to get an extension but anything's possible.
I don’t care. I was just trying to get Florida fans mad at a person saying “Florida can do better,” and then mad at somebody saying “Florida can’t do better.” Unfortunately, the board’s dumbest poster was the only person to bite.
If he goes 8-4 again and there isn't consideration on making a move or they move forward discussing an extension, that tells me all I need to know about this administration on campus and their desire to have a championship level football program. You can’t have back to back 8-4 years, avg recruiting classes for your conference, and still say “this is the right track” for a program that’s played for more national titles the last 30 years than all but 5 programs.
I think this was just a veiled shot at Kirby and I'm here for it. I nearly replied like you were serious about UF's problem being offense.
yeah he is the replacement for our former def analyst who got hired as Miami’s LB coach so I’m expecting good things
Yea I really liked him. Very good recruiter. Strange to me that we didn’t match whatever A&M offered.
The Josh Heupel era at Tennessee will officially open two days earlier than originally scheduled as the Vols are moving their season opener against Bowling Green to Thursday night sources told Volquest.
Actually clicked on the article and was immediately reminded why journalism is failing. Not one but TWO jackasses (the usual suspects) combine forces to create an entire article....based on a throwaway context paragraph of another article.
University President Resigns After Plagiarizing Part Of Commencement Speech By Bill Galluccio Spoiler May 13, 2021 The president of the University of South Carolina resigned after he wasbusted plagiarizing parts of his commencement speech. Bob Caslen admitted that he stole two paragraphs of his speech from a speech delivered by Admiral William McRaven in 2014. McRaven's advice to graduates at the University of Texas went viral and has been viewed over 13 million times on YouTube. "Know that life is not fair and that you will fail often," McRaven said. "But if you take some risks, step up when the times are toughest, face down the bullies, lift up the downtrodden, and never, ever give up — if you do these things, then the next generation and the generations that follow will live in a world far better than the one we have today. And what started here will indeed have changed the world — for the better." Here is a transcript of Caslen's remarks from WIS: "Know that life is not fair, and if you're like me, you'll fail often. But if you take some risks, step up when times are toughest, face down the cowardly bullies and lift up the downtrodden, and never, never give up – if you do those things, the next generation and the generations to follow will live in a world far better than the one we have today. And what started here – today – will indeed change the world for the better." Caslen apologized for failing to attribute the words to McRaven. "I am truly sorry. During my remarks in our weekend commencement ceremonies, I shared a well-known quote from Admiral William McRaven and failed to cite him as its original author and speaker. I was searching for words about resilience in adversity, and when they were transcribed into the speech, I failed to ensure its attribution," Caslen said. The act of plagiarism wasn't the only mistake Caslen made during his speech to the class of 2021. In a video posted on Twitter, Caslen can be heard congratulating the "newest alumni from the University of California." He realized his mistake and quickly apologized, joking, "I owe you push-ups."
It's not hard to say "I want to share a quote with you from..." On the other hand, it's easy to forget to say that too.
Happy for him. Wasn’t a SEC level guy but Chad ruined like 45 QB’s in two years here so not surprising
a Bama fan experience would go like CFP appearance CFP championship BCS bowl game appearance BCS championship etc etc
