As a kid I wanted to be able to go to the WCW matches at the Omni. I was so jealous of the people who lived in Atlanta. I grew up and have been to Atlanta both for work and leisure. I'm no longer jealous of the people living there.

Yea they built a phony mixed use complex for white conservatives. The old omni is still kicking but CNN gradually moving everything to NYC. The Hawks owner is redeveloping most of that real estate.

 

I thought the Omni was the old Hawks arena

 

There was an Omni hotel attached. It's still there in the CNN center next to the Hawks new arena
