What happens when auburn goes 4-8 this season and has the 75th ranked recruiting class? Is Harsin a 1 and done or does he get more time? Will auburn people care that Gus goes 12-0 at ucf? I’ll hang up and listen
This has just got to be a formality, right? It would be fucking hilarious if Texas got this far and the SEC just said nah we're good
Zero chance. Slaw is recruiting pretty well, but a lot of the teams ahead of us like Vandy/USCe/State are solely b/c of quantity of players. We'll end up in the top 25 once we add 1-2 more 4* kids and 10 more 3* kids to match the number totals. It's not where he needs to be, but we aren't going to finish the year in the 70s. Last year we had 5 4* kids and 15 3* kids and finished 19th. We'll probably end up somewhere around that type of class
Last year you had competent recruiters on your staff this year you’ve got a guy taking in every sun belt and D2 transfer he can find
Last year we were like 70th going into the December signing period and finished 19th. I'm not sure they were really competent anymore.
Harsin is going to struggle recruiting solely because the first 30 minutes of his in-home visits are dedicated to the gospel of L. Ron Hubbard
Bro that’s not even the worst part, wait until a recruits mom is 20k in the hole because she was trying to learn more about thetans
Andy Reocho - is this good smack talk or is it like dump talking shit? I have no idea when it come to equipment quips
lol. I mean if they’re actually using gorilla glue/tape for helmet parts, that’s a bold ass decision on their part. Admittedly, I got a good laugh out of it due to the pettiness.
I think he's going to be pretty solid. he took a Washington Team that was like 2-22 the prior 2 years into an 8 win team before he jumped ship and was hitting the bottle
nah gallant knight was the name of a bar that had dollar beers while i was in law school it's now a fucking orange theory rip
Chad Morris is responsible for 16 straight of those, we had John L Smith for a season, and a fat drunk pig farmer for the rest. Not exactly an ideal timeframe that’s for sure
The two years before that we were 7-1 and 6-2 in the league iirc, so yeah it’s not an ideal time frame. Eat my ass
Slaw is embarrassing. Tennessee has gone through a historical downturn. Arkansas has won 40% less than UT during that timeframe. Wow
I think it's clear A&M wants nothing to do with playing Texas every year. They talk talk talk but really they're scared shitless.
This is a solid 'you're not getting the ice cream you want but you don't have to finish your broccoli' for A&M.
I sorta eye rolled the internal promotion of Sankey back in the day but boy is it nice having the best Commissioner in College Athletics, SEC having the 3 most powerful ppl in CFB during our lives.
Was Gump always a derogatory name towards Bammers or was it just after the movie? like I just found out that the original Forrest Gump book was about a 350 lb Forrest
