He was going to IU last spring but there wasn't room. Kinda got exposed in MAC play this year, but he's solid still.
Will be interesting how Cronin and Enfield attempt adapt to B1G style BB. We are built on D already so it might not be a huge deal for us. Wonder if they change their recruiting strategy.
Yea once he visited I figured we were going to take him. Sounds like he's going to replace Logan Duncomb as a rotation piece. We are still going after Ike from Wyoming and the UVA center plus have Reneau coming back.
I'd be more concerned with how terribly the B1G is officiated. One half they let everything go and the next they call a foul if something gets breathed on. I dont watch enough hoops to see if it is like that elsewhere, but I dont notice it in the NCAAT
Nimari Burnett had a final 4 of Texas Tech, Bama, Michigan, and aoregon coming out of HS and here we are 3.5 years later and he's about to attend 3 of those 4 schools. Guess he never was able to make up his mind.
Bates has the tools to be solid he just never put anything together beyond a game at a time here or there.
I have no clue regarding Michigan players. And I'm not going to speak for any other Michigan fans. But I've hated him for a while and am happy he is leaving, even if it makes the team worse.
Can't speak to the players, but his act grew a bit tiresome, and our insistence to run our offense through him was infuriating, so most are hoping for a larger emphasis on guards. As it turns out, that's the type of offense that successful teams run.
I have no clue why I said players, I meant fans lol. I hate him, but thought he was good. Feels like he regressed/didn’t get better, but didn’t think UM fans would be glad to see him gone. Hopefully he transfer out of the B1G so I don’t have to see his wonky run anymore.
He is so incredibly slow that it became painful to watch. Around the basket he could do some good things, but he couldn't defend centers, and if he switched to a guard, LOL. He was very good for us and we definitely appreciate what he did at michigan, but I think most of us are ok to see him move on.
