as long as admissions lets him in, which isn't a guarantee at UM but seems like it's on track to happen by most accounts
I can see why coaches, especially known for their recruiting, will hate this UK should just go ahead and get rid of cal right? Now that they can give guys $2 million a year there is 0 reason to keep an awful gameday coach around. Anyone could get all the 5 stars there
Would love to know if this factored into Scott Stricklin's decision to target Todd Golden. Many programs will always attract top talent and now with NIL you might look past the lack of a lengthy track record of recruiting players because you can just say a number and have it be the whole recruiting pitch. Focus on actual coaching acumen
added de'vion harmon from oregon and fardaws aimaq from utah valley in the past 24 hours roster starting to look nice
That's shitty, but Im also confused why he needed to be a graduate transfer to go where he wanted with the 1 time free transfer thing.
There were rumors Michigan wouldn't take him due to academics. Wonder if this was it. That he needed to graduate, but he needed to take summer courses. Tech wouldn't allow him to take summer courses there, and he wouldn't be able to go to Michigan
Because Michigan is incredibly difficult to transfer into if you aren't a FR or a grad transfer. I think what he's implying here is Shannon needed to graduate from TT to be eligible at UM, because not enough of his credits would have transferred to UM for him to be eligible. It's a massive issue for UM in football and basketball going forward in terms of the portal compared to what most other schools have. I think Shea Patterson had to take 15-18 spring/summer credits when he transferred into UM just to have enough credits to be JR eligible coming from Ole Miss. And that was after two years. Shannon needs three years worth of credits.
It is almost impossible to transfer into UM unless you're a freshman or a graduate because they only take credits from classes that UM offers. As a result, rarely do a majority of a students credits transfer. But if they're a graduate its kosher. #Texas Tech Red Raiders are bitch made. It is known. Now the poor kid has to play for Brad Underwood. What a terrible fate.
the idea that mark adams is keeping shannon from attending michigan instead of illinois is preposterous but after seeing how mad it makes big dumb dumb hunter dickinson i kind of wish it were true
But it does kind of make sense when you realize illinois is no threat to ever make it past the first weekend
