I see a win-win here. How many NIL's would we have to give Gene Smith to just keep losing to us?

We’ve had 12 scholarship players transfer or quit our defense since the Oregon loss in game two when Coombs got demoted.

Bryson Shaw started 11 games in 2021, but hasn’t found a destination in the portal. Ryan Watts started one in 2021 and transferred to Texas. Sevyn Banks was a 2020 starter, got demoted, and now transferred to LSU.

Based upon analogous circumstances at Nebraska, you should win the Big Ten West this year.

But our starters already suck and our backups are usually walkon crackers

OSU got a commitment from a Florida kid Orhian Johnson in the late Tressel years that was worried about the weather so they promised him he wouldn’t ever have to play in the snow

    Neil Caudle visits Michigan camp
Along with Auburn, Caudle has indicated that he has strong interest in Michigan, Louisville and Miami. He has visited Louisville and recently took a trip to Ann Arbor to visit the Wolverines for a three-day camp.
"I went up to Michigan for a camp," said Caudle,"I got a good feeling for the atmosphere and how things are up there. It's not what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be snow everywhere, but there wasn't. It was a good trip, but Auburn still holds a slight lead."

Yeah I've seen multiple recruiting articles over the years with guys from the south who think we play in Antarctica.

It’s Indiana in 1994, with WR Thomas Lewis to the NY Giants.

I have no idea, but I wonder if that is a P5 record.

Indiana football is an under appreciated level of futility.

A Big Ten member for 122 seasons since 1900, they have exactly two conference titles 1945 and 1967.

In 1945, every single college age male was serving in WWII. Their 1967 was a co-title.

A lot of value in Minnesota, with Wisconsin and Iowa both having tough cross over games.

As long as Fitzgerald is the coach, I feel like an automatic bet on Northwestern anytime they are 50-1 or better to win the West would pay off in the long run.

Maybe Wisconsin is back and runs through everyone or Iowa finds an offense, but this seems like a wide open year in the West.

It’s stupid because our coach is bad and hasn’t won more than 5 games in any of his first 4 years. What makes this year different?

15-29 coach suddenly figures it out? Pffft

Looking at it, I feel like Minnesota and to a lesser extent Iowa are the value plays in the West. But, I know better than to bet on Minnesota.

Iowa returns a lot, but still has abysmal QB options. I keep thinking they should be the favorites then look at the schedule and put down automatic losses to Purdue and Wisconsin because they have no clue how to beat those teams. Then automatic loss to Ohio St and probably Michigan. I'm sure there are some other losses in there too. I think 3/4 in the West sounds right.
