1 Georgia 4 Alabama 2 Michigan 3 Ohio State The rest of college football burns as other conferences riot in the streets.
Why would they say that? Of course they didn’t. But there is no precedent for a team losing and not falling in the rankings. And a 2 loss team getting over a one loss team. Don’t be silly
OSU jumping USC if they lose is nonsensical. The current top 4 should be the final top 4. Seeding within those can shift, but nobody currently in should be punished for playing an extra game while the teams behind them sit at home.
the thread the other day where ppl discussed bro being weird and needing to learn how to socialize this is it
The ultimate irony if we jump TCU would be that, in 2014, we jumped TCU because they didn’t play a conference championship and we beat Wisconsin 59-0 in our game.
USC would be better off getting a Covid outbreak and not playing than having to play this game. Not the best system setup.
We never show more than a quarter or half of great play, and muddle through at least a quarter of bad play each game. If we put it together for four quarters, sure, but we have not done that this year.
https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/page/cfbplayoffpredictor/cfb-playoff-predictor Espn predictor is, uhm, interesting USC and TCU wins and espn puts playoff % at OSU 52% USC 41%. USC win and TCU loss : tcu 67%, osu 64% and usc 56%
Really dark few days for those of us who love this stupid sport with kitna, freeze, and mickey joseph stuff
only reason I know it exists is because there was a thread on here at one point where someone was providing streams to their games
Look at the Bowl Projections. Do you want to play in Memphis, in driving distance for most of your fanbase, after xmas against your biggest rival orrrr. Play on xmas eve in a place less fans will travel to, 2 days before xmas against a G5 team. (no shade to ECU) Hmmm tough choice.
Just get rid of the Heisman at this point if the people voting for it think Stetson Bennett is one of the 4 best players in CFB.
Like it or not, the QB for the best team in the country usually gets an invite. They should have invited Jalen Carter.
For some reason Kirby likes to shut the offense down in non-big games he’d have big numbers if we opened things up more against lesser competition
I'm curious what you mean by this. He's balled out every time his team played what was supposed to be a difficult game this year. If you still see him as a game manager, that's just not close to correct.
Or Bowers. Or several others from UGA's team if you want to go that route. No one who has ever watched UGA play has left that game thinking Bennett is the best player on that team, let alone the best player in the country. There's already a "best QB" award. If the only people allowed to be considered for "best player" are QBs, then the award should just go away.
Every once in a while you get a defensive guy or a lineman who gets some backing and people vote for them. And then it goes right back to what it was.
