College baseball is dumb, and the hotty toddy is a shit tier cocktail.

Also - über is apparently a nightmare according to friends that were there for today's game - for those that are just now debating heading to Omaha.

For those already out there - let me know if you had a different experience thus far.

 

Stadium is walkable from all the downtown hotels.

I’ll be headed up to Omaha Friday if we make it to the finals.

 

Last time I was at a game in Omaha we kiiiinda goofed, hoping for some redemption

 

There is no cocktail named a hotty toddy.

Maybe if you have a cold but to just drink them is really weird. “Yes, I’ll have some hot water with a shot of whisky and some honey and other shit like nutmeg and stuff thanks. Yes I know it’s 10pm on a Saturday.”

 

It's an elite level "hair of the dog" drink imo.

Also it's usually pretty damn cold in Oxford for our endless cycle of morning games so that may be a factor.

Edit: In fairness - I guess the temperature was probably worse at night but didn't feel it due to the amazingness of the brunch Hot Toddies

 

This is a rough cast we have attending CWS this week - do we have any strong to quite strong police or political Omaha contacts?

I can't imagine the board escapes without at least 2 arrests/drunk tanks.

 

I am very grateful a bar allows me to pay $15 to drink mimoas 11-6 tomorrow and hope for A&M-Texas chaos.
