newcastle trying to highjack the dele move?
he is ass why is everyone fighting over him
They're wanting another attacker
Getting gazumped for Dele Alli isn’t the worst thing that can happen to you
Crazy Alli is only 25 but is 5 years removed from his best statistical season
Did Gil just need more minutes? I thought he looked pretty good when I saw him in there.
after yesterday I'm not sure we can really afford to let him leave
I am a bit concerned about Dele and how sometimes it can appear that he isn’t putting in as much effort as he should. I really hope he gets off to a fast start or the relationship between the player and fans could turn toxic quickly.
I’ll always be a bit worried watching Eriksen at Brentford. Brentford certainly have a thing for Danes. Eriksen will make it six Danish players on their squad.
He runs and covers plenty of ground, he just doesn’t provide much other than that.
Even if with stats to disprove it, he’s stuck with the reputation that he doesn’t really give a shit. Maybe he needs to take some acting classes so he can emote the way the media and fans would deem admirable. Everton fans will tolerate lack of productivity just as we always have.
Did this get passed over
I hope Ramsey and Bale play for Wrexham FC before they retire. The owners certainly have the financial means to make it happen.
I mean yeah if they want to make like 15k/week
reynolds and mcelhenny both put in 1m each
the article also says that there are talks about Neco coming to Fulham on a loan, which would make sense due to Tete's injury and Odoi being a liability (and possible move to Cercle Brugge) making RB our biggest immediate need.
And once they’re promoted to the efl there will be ffp to deal with
I really feel like we're glossing over Barcelona having to beg and plead and re-negotiate the contract of a washed up 32 year old just to make a free transfer happen
That’s only because that’s how cheap it was to buy the club. Reynolds’ is worth somewhere in the 9 figure range. I know it’s never going to happen but one can dream.
They’ll just have to raise the price on the TikTok sponsorship then.
Barca being poor was last summer’s story line. Old news doesn’t get talked about in these times.
Right just saying it was a 1% investment for Reynolds and I’m guessing he wants to keep it that way
It’s about on par in terms of embarrassing as having Braithwaite and Luuk de Jong as their strikers.
Great window for Newcastle all things considered.
Glad he’s leaving the BL. Dude absolutely owned us.
It’s old, but good.
Finally addressing the defense. Great signing for them, as long as they keep him out of Burger King
That's a very Dortmund signing.
The owner of the McDonalds across from Dortmund’s training facilities:
Not sure re: source but it seems to follow the news from the last couple months.
Farewell, power cube
Following in the footsteps of fellow Bayern legend Bastian Schweinsteiger
Good for him. He can probably be an anonymous as he wants in Chicago and that is an A+ city for summer football
Summer anything in Chicago is awesome, and I’m 100% going to watch him play sometime this season.
Schweinsteiger thoroughly enjoyed his time there, as did Ana
Can't remember if I posted it outside the Liverpool thread or not, but Shaqiri got a hair transplant during an international break in the season, not knowing it meant he couldn't head a ball for 4 weeks. So Liverpool just listed him as out, and no one could figure out how he got injured during vacation cause he didn't play for Switzerland.
Mazraoui is apparently out of contract and likely to leave on a free. Seems wild considering Ajax usually seem to maximize their players value
Clearly Dortmund aren’t aware he plays defense.
I wasn’t aware that anyone in the Eredivisie played defense.
Gallant Knight not a terrible deal, but still a bit high for him.
That is a lot for Villa to pay for a 30 year old.
I think he is a good fit for them but that is too much.
Not a lot of top young talent are lining up to go to a small club constantly battling relegation. They’re going to need to over pay
The exact phrase that’s led to Everton’s downfall
Everton has never been relegated though
Barcelona want Phil out and will settle for much lower than that.
Agreed, Odegaard was outrageous initially and they settled on 35. If they are not duped, 20-25 gets the job done for him. Who else is going to pay to take on his wages?
