Man, I hate the rule about players popping off bags
Great effort from Mitch. Shame we're still gonna lose.
Dude has cajones. I would have kept him in for the last out
your negativity is a blessing, store it for when it matters
Mookie with a headset is a treat.
Really could use turner or Bellinger to make contact with men on 3rd. Then Barnes and JT coming up empty with the bases loaded. Wasted opportunities.
Dodgers have 14 Ks through 5 2/3 innings. Orel says "dodgers need the other side of the true outcome"
Next pitch, Bellinger bomb
Freddie poking the ball to the opposite field is a thing of beauty
Damn, two sacrifices in the same inning? What team is this?
Look like same ole Padres to me. That’s 14 wins out of 15 against this sorry ass franchise.
Classic little brother big brother energy.
He makes his return today after fifteen games
Welcome back Mookie!
Idiotic send there
Dino does that from time to time
Kimbrel should be DFA’d
Should probably just make Evan Phillips closer
dodgers are only second to the Rangers (and tied with the Guardians) for most prospects in the MLB 100
surely Pages or Vargas can come up and spell CT?
Three single game for a Cody is nice
Me @ Kimbrel
Hope Brusdar is okay
Good thing Vesia fucks
Vesia is the man
+ Victor Gonzales and Danny Duffy (who will seemingly never pitch in a dodger uniform)
RIP Mike Brito, watching him with the radar gun behind home plate and listening to Vin Scully was pretty much every summer night growing up for me
Was fortunate enough to hang out with him and Jaime Jarrin some time ago. Lovely guy; Jaime, too.
The look on Brito’s face when I admitted to being “a big Franklin Stubbs guy,” was priceless.
Stubbs was a bit before my time of watching, what was that in reference to?
Well, it’s believed that Ben Wade was in love with Franklin Stubbs but the gaggle of Doyers scouts were split between Todd Worrell and some lanky HS senior called… Barry Bonds. Wade was untouchable obviously and Campanis was never going to side with anyone else.
Todd Worrell was a pretty damn good reliever. Will have to do some research on this Bonds fella.
Just for my guy ZeroPointZero sake, and in my finest Bill Simmons voice…the 1982 MLB draft was the apex mountain of sliding doors.
The dumbass Cubs selected two shortstops in the first round including Shawon Dunston 1.1. They passed on Barry Larkin.
notable selections in that draft:
Billy Fuckface Ripken
Dell Curry (!)
and Corch Urban Meyer
From that list and with hindsight, Randy is the easy first pick right?
One inning in and we know this ump is garbage
I left, came back, turned it on to see the Lamb homer, and then saw more rough calls by this ump
It’s been awful tonight.
Come on Mookie
Dodgers bullpen have gotten 9 outs on 20 pitches
Freeman saved our boy McKinstry with his glove there. Now go win it with your bat
Bonds, Randy, Gooden I think.
