as for the dodgers generally, yes, that's accurate. they do rely on homers too much. which is normally their kryptonite in October (struggle to manufacture runs with men in scoring position). not everyone can get red hot like Philly and just hit a million homers on a WS run. but that is the dream I suppose.
I have zero stats to back this up, but over the past 15 years nobody has been better than the Dodgers at turning bases loaded or two men on with no outs into zero runs. But the homers are fun
