Man Goldschmidt and Arrenado back to back is a pain in the ass
This LAA lineup is awful, jfc
Got the DIIV debut blasting nice and loud
Your baby boy, Dansby, started a 9th inning walkoff rally with a leadoff homer.
I was wondering wtf you were talking about until I got to the 3 spot and then it dropped off a cliff dramatically
They didn’t say but it’s got to be some other long time closer. Probably someone like Kimbrel.
Angels need to hire someone away from Tampa or Milwaukee to run the front office because they need to scrap together a winner on no budget around Trout and Ohtani. This way of tacking on other expensive outside free agent contracts has not worked.
Kirby facing the A's, don't have enough screens to watch but will be closely watching his line in the box score vs that awful lineup
I think Bryan Shaw on the Guardians
722 games with no PAs
Sullivan, Cameron, August, and Cistulli run the front office tasked with building a winner around Trout and Ohtani
Cleveland and Minnesota combined to score in 9 different half innings through 7
Who hits the ball further: Judge up and in or Yordan low and in?
9 Ks through 4 IP a night after hitting 2 3-run homers and driving in 8 runs
What the hell man
Oscar Gonzalez with a pretty solid first month in the bigs.
Guardians and Twins series is wild
Stupid idea of guys with experience in front offices that are well run
This one cleared a catwalk and kept going
This guy is from my hometown, had no idea he was back up in the majors until seeing he got bombed.
Trevino is 2nd in the AL in WAR for C and has less PA than anyone else in the top 12. #1 has 100 more PA.
That's proof that every swing looks better lefty. Idk why but it does.
6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 10 SO/1 BB on 82 pitches for the GOAT
Kirby working into a sixth scoreless frame
He's been absolutely balling on both sides of the plate.
7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 12 SO/1 BB on 96 pitches with 63 strikes and a whole lot of emotion on display as he walks off the field after that last called strike
Ohtani called out on strikes on a pitch that wasn't really close. Umps suck man
What a freaking monster
8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 13 SO/1 BB on 108 pitches
Career high 8 RBIs last night and a career high 13 Ks tonight. Most insane athlete ever
But did the angels win tho.
He and trout deserve so much better.
should have signed on to a real team. trout too.
Imagine where he’d be if he wasn’t the best tagger in the history of baseball
It is astounding how fucking bad Detroit's lineup is.
Only 3 players with 100+ PAs positive in fWAR, and among those 3 the highest wRC+ is 83 so those WAR values are entirely built on defense.
They basically have only 3 league average hitters in Miggy, Meadows, and Harold Castro and they aren't even net contributors because of positional/defensive considerations
What a wasteland
The Cubs-Pirates game has been delayed for about ten minutes now and no one knows what is going on. The Pirates lead off batter was up and after the first pitch David Ross came out to talk to the home ump and the Cubs trainer ran out to the bullpen. Then the Pirates trainer went out there and now there’s been a ton of different individuals going in and out of the bullpen. And now they’re starting it back up after fifteen minutes and still no info of what happened.
Alex Wood did not have a fun afternoon for the giants.
Well that’s not strange at all…
no update from the telecast still?
seems like a medical issue in the Cubs bullpen.
Nothing yet, I have to assume some type of medical emergency but they never brought in any type of EMTs and broadcast still hasn’t elaborated about what happened.
Damn. But if they didn’t escalate it, that seems like good news
Cant help but think about Daryl Kyle. He died 20 years ago yesterday.
Dansby is having a nice game, jeez
.909 OPS since the start of May coming into today. Easily the best offensive run of his career.
BA seems to think Gunnar Henderson could enter 2023 as the top prospect in baseball, depending on who graduates ahead of him
Dude looks super exciting. Orioles have some dudes coming up
Little League HR for Goldschmidt. I have now idea how it got past 3 players lol
That throw gets by… everybody
Im in love
