He's still committed, but USC is pushing hard to keep him close because he has a kid. So if not OU, then USC.
Our TE recruiting is on par with like Mississipi State or some shit. Aside from OJ Howard, we've taken a bunch of ragtag 3 stars and made them work (to be fair, Irv Jr. and now Jahleel Billingsley were big hits though... and our former lifelong DE turned TE out of necessity, who now has legitimate NFL prospects, Cameron Latu). That's why I didn't even get excited about Jaleel Skinner. He'll commit to you guys or FSU before us.

So Texas had a RB from El Paso set to OV last weekend. He probably would have committed over the weekend, if not shortly thereafter. Basically as he was on the jetway to board the flight, they told him not to come. You only do that if you think you have another RB in the bag. The RB they thought they had committed to USC today.
