i agree, Hamilton is too low
Not sure I’d take any corner over Gardner, Stingley seems to be a huge gamble. Elam over him, don’t see it
betting on dudes from 2019 lsu seems to be a winning proposition, so id go the stingley route as well
This seems like a draft that's going to be all over the place and the internet guys have too much consensus right now. I think the top 10 looks very different in April than it does now. You can always say that to some degree, but I think this year especially with the lack of elite guys. Guys like Jeremiah have been saying for months that he's had scouts tell him no one in this draft would have gone in the top 10 last year. I kind of think that's hyperbole, but Brugler recently said the same thing.
That's fucking moronic
I tend to think Atlanta would have taken Thibs or Hutchinson at 4 instead of Pitts just because of positional value. Carolina probably takes the other one instead of Horn.
Those might be the only two.
I think some of that is definitely revisionist, considering Parsons, Smith and Slater didn't go top 10 but would in a re-draft. Mac, too, for that matter. But some of last year's class was also tough because guys like Chase, Sewell, Parsons and Slater didn't play in the COVID year.
There’s also no cluster of QBs to increase the depth of this years top 10
last year's draft also looks like an all-timer in terms of high-end first rounders. outside of QBs, they were practically all hits.
The one poster earlier had the dolphins taking another WR in the first. Because that's what they need.....
Literally any competent OL for the Bengals in round one plz.
Still seems like, at some point, there's a Taylor Decker to Cinci trade that could make sense for both teams.
Taylor Decker for Chris Evans imo
This year seems way easier than last year with so many opt outs.
What do you think would take to get him? And how has he been in the pros? I don’t follow the Lions closely but seems like he’s been solid when not hurt.
Cleveland looking to be somewhere around 10-15 and badly needing a WR seems like a perfect spot for Olave or Wilson.
We'll probably try to be the smartest people in the room and fuck it up though.
Please let this happen
Hutchinson going to be a bust
I think Hutchinson will be good, but not live up to expectations to a #1 overall DE, especially compared to recent top DE picks. No QBs makes this a really weird draft year.
Is the consensus on here Hutchinson>>>Thibodeaux?
minus The Banks of course
None of the top “edge” prospects are SEC. What’s going on
Nate Tice and his gang seem like pretty respected football minds and they put out a big board with Hutchinson in the teens
I don't know shit but I'd pick Thibodeaux
P sure thibodeaux was the most disruptive player in CFB (not named will Anderson) wrt hurries/hits/sacks per play. He just wasn’t on the field a ton.
He's a good LT. Maybe somewhere in the 8-15 range at that position, depending on your preference? Good pass blocker. Decent run blocker. Main issue is he's been hurt at times.
I have no clue what his value is. I don't think Cincinnati would do better than him at OT in the first round, but the trade value of football players is weird so maybe they wouldn't value him like that. At one point I might have thrown out a Decker for Higgins deal, but Higgins is playing too well at this point for that to happen.
granted only a 2 game sample size but in both Utah games I didn’t really see 1st overall player out of him
no idea if he was playing hurt though or on a play count
I’ll take Thibodeaux over Hutchinson as well
that was derrick klassen, who i like a lot but is def not as experienced wrt nfl scouting and nfl things as tice
klassen has been very critical of hutchinson's bend
This draft seems like it really sucks
Jermaine Johnson better pro than both
Jags or lions who is it going to be
So are Lions fans rooting for Jordan Love to take it down the field and score?
I was not
so 15,16,19 it is!
Foles sneak on the practice squad when no one was looking?
someone tell Dan Campbell he's not allowed to run Oklahoma Drills at practice.
Campbell the “advisor”
He's going to make your guy Duce do it and take all that heat
I like Strong… hope he has a good week.
Battle coming back is interesting though Bama always seems to get 1 high pick back. No idea why Charbonnet is going back to college, he's probably like a 2nd round pick and gaining nothing.
Supposedly he got 2nd-3rd round grade. Harris would be the biggest return on defense, but I think he’s likely gone.
He's got some knee issues in his past, too. That one surprises me.
I don't see him as a 2nd round guy, but I'm not sure he's a 2nd round guy if he goes back, either.
Put it on the record, I think Hamilton will go top 10 and will be a very good player for a long time.
