I just don’t think I’d be so high on DB who wanted absolutely nothing to do with the best player he was to go up against
This is the first year he won't have anyone ahead of him and he's been healthy(knocks on every inch of wood in my house). He's made some plays when he's gotten in. The reports out of camp have been very good for him and Adam Anderson. Hopefully they're accurate but with our beat guys you really never know.
Think he’ll go pro after this year? Haven’t really seen him in the mocks like you’d expect for a former #1 overall recruit.
Howell wasn’t good and find it hilarious he could go #1 after Fields fell so far but I don’t get that argument Line was bad, WRs besides Downs were bad, TE was very bad; they had a good drive going
more indicative of the fact that our OL struggled in pass pro all night and even when they gave Sam time our receivers weren't getting separation outside of Downs
Jermaine johnson was absolutely dominant in our game. It's wild to think of what uga must have on the roster that would force him to leave
Its Longo. He had AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Van Jefferson, Demarkus Lodge, Dawson Knox, Elijah Moore, Scottie Phillips, and Jordan Ta’amu who all with the exception of Lodge and Ta’amu are not currently on active rosters (but all have played in the nfl) and had no clue what to do with them.
I’m as big of a unc hater as there is but is your argument that Longo succeeded with a bunch of weapons last year at UNC, lost them all to the draft, and is now bad because he doesn’t know what to do with all his weapons that he doesn’t have?
The knock on Longo is he runs 10-15 plays and the routes are all basically “get open”. His shit works for a year or two and gets figured out. It also does a shot job of preparing guys for the nfl.
Are you dumb? They fell in the draft because they weren’t taught a proper route tree. They are excelling despite Longo.
Why is the UNC logo the thread icon? We’re not seriously still thinking that their QB is the number 1 overall pick…are we?
yea most of us did not fault him at the time b/c he would not be starting for us, or rotating a lot. His dad was pretty adamant about getting him to be "the" guy somewhere, even if it meant not playing in the big games. He should put up some good highlights at FSU.
Potentially. I was surprised this kid stayed. He is backup to Nakobe Dean (sometimes will play next to him), but my guess is he uses his free Covid year to start for us next year
If it were up to Jermaine, he'd prob still be in Athens. His dad loves to rage text and then apologize.
It's pretty clear at this point that the big 10 is the OL factory while the SEC is the front 7 factory
