Who will be the first to copy the Rams game plan? Colts? Nobody in LA is going to give a shit about them missing draft picks for years.
NFL and State Farm have already reached an agreement to rig Patrick and Aaron into the Super Bowl at State Farm Stadium.
Did we see that Adrian Peterson got arrested and caused a flight to be turned around back to the LA airport after super bowl was pulled off the flight for domestic violence against his wife?
Was thinking this morning where I would rank Stafford around the league and figured I'd throw it out there. Who are your top 10 right now (no Brady)? Think I'd go... Mahomes Rodgers Allen Wilson Burrow Stafford Jackson Prescott Herbert Murray 5-9 are all in the same tier and interchangeable, IMO. I still think Wilson is a clear step above them at least going into next season, but took a step back this year. Jackson and Prescott are really hard to rank for me. Jackson because of the run/pass mix is just so different it makes it hard to compare. Dak has better numbers than some I have in front of him, but for some reason I don't trust him in big spots to the extent I do the others. Maybe I just don't watch him enough, though.
you don't trust Dak in big spots because he always loses the game before the big spot so there's no data there. If your ranking of Wilson is still accurate (which I have no idea because I did not watch a lot of Seattle last year and when I did he wasn't great) then Howie Roseman is going to offer the Seahawks a billion first round picks to try and pry Russ loose. Also where does The Pervert rank on the list? Assuming he gets to play he's still a top 5 QB for me Mahomes Allen Rodgers Watson Burrow Herbert Wilson Lamar Stafford Dak Feels like an absolute wasteland of mediocre to downright terrible QBs after that with some combo of Carr/Cousins/Murray on the outside looking in
Mahomes Allen Rodgers Burrow Dak Stafford Herbert Lamar Wilson really don't feel super strongly after the top 3. Herbert and Burrow need to show it again next year for me to feel good about their place.
Carr is definitely right on the outside of that list. Hope he goes to a better team, preferably in the NFC
Wilson's down year was noted for me, but he still has a better and longer track record than any of the guys after him. Watson's somewhere in that 5-10 group, but I'm not ranking him until he plays again. I kept going until I got to around 15-17 with guys like Cousins, Jimmy G and that ilk. The drop off after that is enormous, but so many of those guys in that drop off group are super young so hopefully at least a few take a step next year.
Tier 1: Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen (in some order) Tier 2: Herbert, Burrow, Lamar, Dak, and Stafford (in some order) Tier 3: Kyler, Tannehill, Cousins, and Carr (in some order) Wilson (1.5 consecutive seasons of not being great but coming off an injury) and Watson are likely T1/T2 QBs but i don't know how to rank them. Wilson might just be too old and beat up at this point to really be excellent.
I don't see Lamar as a top two tier QB anymore. For me, top two tier QBs are those capable of winning a super bowl.
