I don’t think it’s a talent issue at all. And not a size thing. Payton clearly doesn’t mind smaller QBs. It’s more of a dedication/work ethic and ego/diva concern.
That’s true. Guessing it’s a lesser of two evils situation since there’s less of work ethic/dedication issue with Russ. And Payton already said he’s putting a stop to him having his staff and office in the building. So we’ll see. Plus, the Broncos roster > Arizona’s, and I’d say that was a significant factor as well.

He’s the best returner in league history. If you’re the very best punter, kicker, returner you are a HoFer.
Rex Grossman led the BEARS to a Super Bowl because of how dangerous Hester was. Just think about that.

Hester is being massively undersold. He was a legit threat anytime he touched the ball and being able to flip an easy 7 off a run back is a real deflator for opponents. As someone who got to watch Dante Hall, Hester was better and should be in the hall.
My lukewarm, not 100% vetted HOF take is if you put Cowher in then pretty much any coach with a ring should get in. Full disclosure: this is rooted in some Mike Holmgren homerism.
