For the record, Pulisic was always hurt at Dortmund too. I think it’s more of a him thing than a league physicality thing.
I believe that was part of Jorts initial stance about him. That if he wasn’t holding up at Dortmund, he certainly wouldn’t in the Prem
did pulisic even get hurt last year in the EPL? i thought he missed games for covid and for the ankle injury that occurred for the USMNT
Perhaps they forgot about him. I thought it was bizarre how Brazil fans booed him every time he was on the ball during the Germany fiasco. He was the least at fault for that thrashing amongst the players who started the match.
Totally agree! I think they forgive him more because he is considered a fan favorite for a lot of people in Brazil. But Fernandinho and David Luiz are absolutely hated. Especially Fernandinho.
If I was Brazilian, I’d hate Thiago Silva for getting a second yellow before playing Germany most of all.
I think a lot of people don't like him because he cried and refused to take a penalty against Chile in the World Cup, but he usually performs for Brazil when he plays, unlike Vinícius Júnior, Militão, Marcelo, Daniel Alves, etc.
While I agree with this approach honestly it would've been pretty funny to loan him and say they aren't seen as a threat.
Tuchel doesn’t rate Pulisic which is maddening considering he’s got an attacking skill set Chelsea lacks at times. We’ll always have Project Restart Pulisic who was nasty. Spoiler
Usage debate aside, an asset is still an asset. Even tho it means he would get more playing time, I’m guessing they think a loan to Man U and that shit show would likely depreciate his value. Seems to have done exactly that to every new signee despite their hype heading to Old Trafford.
Really dont understand shopping CP10. He is the only winger who will make a run in the final third. CHO sits on the ball. We already shipped Timo
He can come to Milan. We already took a Chelsea hand me down in Tomori and it’s worked out great for all involved.
I was pretty gutted to see him go; I thought Fik would be great for us. I'm just happy he's playing well, seems like a good dude.
I don't understand what Forest's transfer strategy is. Isn't this like the 4th striker they've signed?
Forest just bidding against themselves here? Reads like Wolves just set a stupid price and NF just said deal this makes no sense
Forest was the only club linked to MGW with any consistency so I think you’re right. Bruno just kept saying he wanted MGW to be here, and then we brought in Guedes. It also appears Adama is sticking around until January, so MGW was facing a lot of competition for his spot.
this window has magnified the financial difference between the EPL and the rest of the world a thousand fold. We’ve got relegation tier clubs like Fulham, Forest & Man United wildly outspending CL clubs left and right
no but considering he's now tasked with shielding Maguire and Lisandroito he deserves quadruple whatever United is offering
