He's boxed himself into being transparent. Which is great if that 37 year old guy without prior Oregon roots decides he never wants to explore other opportunities.
I’m sure Bama’s AD will hold that against him when Saban retires and they won’t call his agent to check in on him.
Oh schools won't care. My post was just saying that coaches aren't usually that direct to avoid looking like taggart when the waters change. But I hope he stays happy there forever. He's been great
Every passing minute I’m increasingly convinced A&M will promote Elijah if the team rallies and looks good these last three games. Beating LSU (not gonna happen) would cement it. I think the fanbase would only have him behind Elko and Lanning right now and the latter ain’t happening. Traylor would get a very lukewarm (justified or not) reception.
They definitely held it against Saban when he said he wasn't leaving the Dolphins. Oregon guys must not have heard Tommy Tuberville's the only way I am leaving Ole Miss is in a pine box speech before he took the AU job.
If Dabo left, it would be fascinating to see what direction Clemson goes given their uncertain future in the new era of college football.
Assuming A@M would pay Dabo’s $6 million buy out and top his current $11.5 million contract with 8 years remaining. With Jimbo’s payout that would be over $170 million in payroll not including coordinators.
Dabo would coach the first game in overalls and do the yells, he would also talk about Ole Rock at the presser
Miss state should probably try and interview people in neutral places because Starkville is absolutely trash.
he is done I can’t believe even winning out (sc, Kal, bowl game) keeps his job snowfx2 can correct me if I’m wrong. I honestly thought this was a home run hire and a turning point for our program. I don’t know who is out there we have a realistic chance at right now my #1 choice is a fantasy illogical choice. I say we hand the job to Lynn and see what he does.
when Mora was let go I said I thought he should get the job. That was obviously before Kelly got the job. While you might be making fun of me, he has done a decent job building up Zona so I wouldn’t be 100% against the hire and sticking to Zona would also be great. But, he isn’t my pipe dream.
Not making fun. Fisch would be a very good hire. Michigan fans think highly of him. He's done an excellent job turning around a dead Arizona program. He knows UCLA. He knows the B1G from stops at Michigan and Minnesota. He can recruit. And he makes peanuts at a school that is facing massive financial problems.
