This is my guess on the 16 hosts announced tomorrow evening: Wake Forest Florida Arkansas LSU Clemson Vanderbilt Virginia Stanford Coastal Carolina Miami Alabama Oklahoma St Auburn Boston College Kentucky Campbell I don’t think Indiana St or DBU have a strong argument over Campbell as a second midmajor host. Campbell’s resume and their top 50 RPI wins is stronger than either of those. I think Southern Miss’s RPI is a little too high for it to be in tbt host conversation. I think South Carolina gets left out as a host in favor of Auburn and Kentucky, both of whom have the head-to-head over South Carolina and both finished stronger to end the season. I won’t be shocked if SCar gets a host spot over Auburn if the committee weighs RPI more heavily than other metrics.
Yeah as long as the requisite strength of the 2-4 teams are considered that’s fine. We had OU as a 2 last year which was deserved, we’d better get the second to version 2 seed if we’re the #2 overall. Had to listen to every SEC announcer talk up South Carolina and no doubt a month or two ago they were absolutely elite (arguably best in the country) but if they aren’t that version then they can’t host.
Pac 12 title game is fun so far. I’m sure every SEC coach has been having someone scout these poverty programs to look at portal targets.
I wasn’t rooting for us to lose, but I’m certainly glad to get out of there and back home. We’ve been killed with injuries all season and continuing to play in that meaningless tournament when we’ve got a top 4 National seed locked up isn’t what we need to do. you’re drunk again, aren’t you?

Slavens sprained his ankle badly in the SEC tourney last year and was our HR leader and missed a large portion of the postseason because of it.
