Wholesale changes are needed at Ferrari.
Charles doesn’t deserve such a fucking awful pit wall.
No reason to pit Charles that early and because you did that you put him on the hards because the softs couldn’t make it last.
I’ve never seen a season like this in my lifetime. Team principles and drivers feel so sorry for Charles. They feel pity for those shit calls.
Beyond angry and frustrated and we are hours from the completion of the race.
watched the race on delay and am catching up now. this made me laugh out loud
Hello I made a meme
You guys throwing shade at Sky…it could be worse. I encourage you to watch an Indycar race on NBC. Instead of UK bias, you get ads every 3 laps.
I use F1 TV, but still switch to Sky commentary bc I enjoy crofty and brundle more than the F1 TV crew
This is not accurate sir.
Lando went into the pit and came out in 9th behind Ricciardo and Stroll. He went to 7th when Ricciardo and stroll pitted at the same time. He didn't pass anyone on the Hard tires, he also had no one in front of him once those guys pitted he was 20+ seconds behind perez. Stroll came out at the same time as Riccardo and had soft tires on. McLaren probably should have put Ricciardo on softs which is what he was pushing for on the radio but said he would leave it up to pit crew to decide.
I like Sam Collins and Palmer. Even will buxton has good stuff even now and then.
These guys give great insight during the race. They are MUCH better than the crew on F1TV, I agree ESPN will ruin it if they get it.
To be fair that's about the only strategy using hards that could have worked.
George came up to Charles during an interview and said unlucky and Charles just went uhhh not really.
I think it went
George “Sorry the pit wall are idiots”
Charles “Can you believe this shit again”
Then Carlos… “it’s the cars fault”
His loyalty and refusal to see how bad the wall has been is going to cost him his role at Ferrari.
Resonance dampers via Renault were outlawed. Seemed a huge, relative, play. I'd loved to hear the +/-. And the effect on driver's cars
No I mean it literally happened on Sky after show live. It was pretty funny.
That's true but it's beside the point of what we were talking about. We were talking about the biased statements from the commentators. Of course there being no ads during races is awesome.
They didn't talk enough about Maaaaax
Fan of Tiger Woods thinks that wouldn’t happen with Americans on the mic
Good point. The GOAT is worshipped
Sky is great. I honestly don’t think anyone could cover the sport better.
Their bias in the commentary is just hilarious sometimes, like it was today.
lmao you just can’t help yourself.
ferrari really going to finish third in a two-team race. this is so fun.
also, my favorite moment of the race was ocon blocking alonso at the start... and then blocking alonso again when he emerged from his first pit stop. classic.
With the fastest car… truly an amazing shit show
Today broke me… im probably just going to check results and not watch the race moving forward. My heart can’t take this shit
And then ricciardo passed both of them because Alonso was chasing Ocon after the pit exit.
Let me taste those tears
Then gave a big fuck yeah only to finish 15. :(
She’s a rockstar
You're goddamn right
They talked about her after Monaco as well.
Hope Max buys her a car or something nice after the season
Years and years of heart breaking Georgia games prepared me for this.
I feel like we are watching the end of Mattia
Them hard tires
So where does Charles land when he bails on the Binotto experience
no way ferrari is keeping binotto over their drivers
according to my F1 22 career, he’ll be at RB next year
seb went back to Farrari which made me chuckle
I honestly can't believe Ferrari still has this up:
In comparison to the comprehensive Mercedes debriefs that clearly come out a few days after the race after they've had time to digest the data and will own up to mistakes made, this has zero nuance and is basically "it wasn't our fault"
Ah, must have been thinking of his medium stint then. I remember him catching the Alfa's pretty quickly within a couple of laps out of the pits.
EDIT: too slow
I bet Piastri is on cloud 9 today
That last race with Ocon really did him in.
Really good analyzing the pace and tire deg of everyone.
