Track is so narrow its making it hard for guys to get full runs in without traffic
I think I said it last year, but this track genuinely scares me. Someone is going to hit a wall, bounce to the middle of the track and get T-boned with all the high-speed, blind corners.
yeah they did a little work this year to make the corners less blind, but it's still extremely narrow and fast
This one is going to be another snoozefest at the front, but damn everything else is close.
So the Ferrari engine is somehow worse this season than last season. They had to turn down the power after 1 race because they are melting down the engines already
“Aerodynamics is for people who can’t build engines.”
- Enzo Ferrari
What’s the over/under on Verstappen checkered flags? 18.5?
What I read was they turned it down today while testing the new front and rear wings and plan on turning it back up tomorrow. The telemetry data seems to back that up
The translate function on twitter has made my life so much easier following Serie A and F1
I understood about 80%, I have dabbled.
Dude, if they can’t run full throttle during a FP that means they don’t trust it’s shelf life. That engine is fucking trash
AlphaTauri PU issues now.
“Verstappen was complaining about his downshifts yesterday, and the FIA have just confirmed that he has taken a new gearbox. That is within his allocation for the season so won't incur a penalty, Perez has taken one too.”
these cars are falling apart all over the grid, lordy
We seeing more failures as the cost cap actually sets in?
Williams is going to beat Haas this year isn't it?
Williams definitely made a step forward this year but Jeddah was always going to be a good track for them too.
Never have been a fan of this track
it’s basically Monaco but no one wants to be there
Williams is a great high speed car, it should do well here and tracks like Monza.
Not if Logan Sargeant has anything to say about it
Lando, you're not supposed to drive into walls.
Max with an engine problem
*Sits up in chair and is suddenly extremely interested in qualifying*
guess it didn’t work
Max just trying to see how many places back he can win from
At least tomorrow will be interesting from the standpoint that we can watch Max win from the back of the field
Give me that nando pole
It would be reckless to put Verstappen back out even if they could identify and duct tape it within 5 minutes.
Give me a big nico time for the chaos
He already replaced one gear box, so this would be the 3rd for Max
not necessarily. I don't believe they never reported if the first was gone or just was easier to use the second one
Golf clap for Piastri.
It’s not a huge deal cause he can use 4 before a penalty
PU is fine. Driveshaft issue for max.
Yes I’m fluent in stroopwaffel
Man no pace for Lewis
Not sure if it'll happen or not but a max win from the back tomorrow would be so demorializing for the field
He's literally still the overwhelming Vegas favorite despite starting 15th. Max +160, Perez +450, next best Alonso +1000.
Checo seems like a decent value if he can put some time on Max while he moves through the field?
Jeddah is a relatively easy track to overtake so it Max doesn't get torpedoed at the start he should have the pace (see Spa last year)
Max by 10 seconds if he survives lap 1
Honestly, if you were Red Bull, knowing how fast the car is, starting Max from pit lane so he avoids the torpedo would be tempting
