For those of you new to motorsports...when they don't show the replay of a massive crash...that's usually very very very bad news
I guess, producer-wise, you want to be sure he’s alive and ok before tactlessly analyzing a slow-mo of a guy’s (potential) demise.
Him still being in the car might actually be an okay sign...they're probably worried about injuries...but not about him dying because if it was life threatening then they'd just flip it over and not worry about broken bones etc
So he got flipped in the air, did a 360, then slide across the gravel on his head, hit the tire barrier, and somehow flipped over it and got wedged between the tires and the fence
Trying to follow his car in the video above it's crazy how fast it looks like it's going after it flipped and started sliding
Holy shit if George gets to race. Surely he would start from pit lane and a full lap behind everyone else
HOLY FUCK THAT VIDEO JEEEEEEEESUS Thank god when he flipped into the catch fence it landed on the floor not driver side up
They're going to have to review the aero package regulations after that....cars weren't even going that fast and for it to just launch in their air like that is horrifying
Im sure they’ve done testing on it but this feels uncomfortably close to a car being launched into the stands
