Is there any recent history (the last 5-7 years) of someone the Dodgers couldn't get to hit going somewhere else and turning it around? I'm drawing a blank but am curious if I'm just missing some examples.
I don't think Joc getting red hot for the Braves for a month is any different than him getting hot in the past for the Dodgers. He had OPS+ of 126 in 3 out of 4 seasons from 2016 to 2019. In Chicago and Atlanta he averaged an OPS+ in the mid 90s. And then he had a career year last year, but nothing to suggest something changed for him.
Not quite the same because he was above average with the Dodgers, but he did have a career year elsewhere so it kind of fits, at least.
