I actually had a second sentence at first about hoping they don’t ultimately have to wait a few more years for a first legitimate title, but ended up deciding to just keep things light
So happy for my wife's grandmother, she has been watching games for decades So pissed off for the rest of her shitcunt family Overall glad rangers won
That’ll probably be the thing I remember most about this run, although Evan Carter’s emergence at the end of the season (and into the playoffs) and Sborz’s postseason heater will be up there, too
Right Realistically Arizona is the worst team we played in the postseason And we’re the worst team they played That the way baseball go
Now that the Rangers are in, I’m beginning to believe that not winning a WS is a more impressive feat. Can we realign the divisions again? Rays, you’re going to have to relocate to play in our Mariners, Brewers (former Seattle team, sorry you were cursed with that), Rockies, and Padres division. You will also need to bring your own crayons to munch on.
grats rangers fans, my wife actually won this for you as they were undefeated in playoff games she didn’t watch
Could not care less, congrats to the Rangers. Scherzer can still go to hell with his Melvin Gordon title. Verlander is 50x the human being that guy is.
Is Scherzer a known bad human? I know he's a major hardo bitch who sucks/gets hurt when it matters on the baseball field. Didn't know about anything off the field though.
He's probably my least favorite player in baseball, so I get it from that perspective. I know nothing about him as a human though.
one of my employees is in New York and is a lifelong Mets fan and despises Scherzer, but the only explanation he can articulate when I ask is that Scherzer didn’t perform well in the playoffs last year for the Mets and then left (traded)
Scherzer’s a good dude. I get why Dodgers and Mets fans hate on him but it’s not his fault he couldn’t get the Dodgers’ playoff stink off him or that the Mets gave $200 million to a 53 year old.
