So are the better kids just going to renegotiate? Seems wild to do this all out in the open when nobody's locked in
the real #s are nowhere near that high but UFs offer was much bigger and has been for a while. They even upped it late this week.
Exact # won’t leak but quote from guy involved “that report is ludicrous, on3 trying to get free hits”
It's v fun, just unsustainable. This kid is reportedly getting more than others that are ranked ahead of him, which is going to drive the market higher. I get that it's all monopoly money (especially so in miami's case), but it's going to be really fun to watch between now, signing day, and the portalling in between.
Going to be even better when kids who outperform their additional NIL money start renegotiating and putting themselves on the free agent market.
My question is you pay a dude millions and then another guy outplays him every day at practice. What are we gonna do?
He’s already reportedly agreed to give up his NIL rights to their collective, so I don’t believe he can at this point.
This kid is overrated as fuck and will end up transferring several times and end up at San Jose State by his junior or senior year…..I seen him play several times and he was fucking atrocious in his 3 biggest games last year and thats with 5 WRs who have D1 offers
To get around NCAA rules and stop him from transferring elsewhere, Tennessee’s collective agreed to give him the money but only if he gave up 100% of his NIL rights to them. In turn, he’s not connected to the school in any way yet he’s still penalized heavily if he wants to transfer. Actually a pretty clever idea. This is all rumored, of course.
Bet we’ll have teams needing 50 mil for NIL in next 5 years, don’t believe those Rashada numbers though
It's wildly impossible to keep this stuff going and I think schools know that. They are just trying to strike gold in the beginning to get a Jumpstart on their stagnant programs. I don't think it's any coincidence these stories are popping up for schools like Miami, Tennessee, A&M, USC, etc. They all got similar stories
ohh no I don’t think you understand that all the ND fans on here are happy for Dante, we got a good qb- we want him to get an outrageous bag he’s a good kid
Probably not best to pair Tennessee and Miami with A&M as they have won a title since FDR was in office.
I invite you to find a post of mine supporting that theory. We had a nice little 2/3 of a season w trask and pitts and fucked it up but have done 0 worth noting since 09. I can’t speak for the posts of other gator fans.
