Just when you think the Lions have made progress, you hire one of the worst CFB positional coaches to your worst position group
the one thing i will give dre credit for is also our dline coach is a high school strength coach who assembled an even worse unit so the corners had to cover all day i think they both stink but that is the logic in that hire i guess
Amazing, have to be glad Big Mike took that year off to study analytics and new ideas… just so he could hire the ultimate nepo baby OC
Idc about schottenheimer but in he interest of discussion it’s funny to pin shit offenses on the qb coach. Particularly teams with bad personnel, franchises literally known for mismanagement, and citing a year luck was hurt all season.
And holy crap with the nepotism on the 2001 Washington team. Schotty had Brian and his brother Kurt on staff.
In hindsight, maybe Darrell Bevell, Schottenheimer, and Urbs was less than ideal for a rookie quarterback.
The Saints just need to eat as much cap hell as possible this year so they can fire Allen after 2023 and have a reasonable situation for the next guy. Instead, they'll probably keep kicking that can and try to trade for someone like Carr while making it impossible to do anything for the next 2-3 years again.
Every russell wilson story I hear is the weirdest russell wilson story I hear. I wonder if this is why it seemed like nc state let him walk
I thought Brady's thing with Alex Guerrero was a little unhinged, but Russ takes it to a whole new level with fucking everything.
the funniest thing is he was on the Seahawks as a practice squad guy when russ was mvp level and now russ is taking pointers from the loser
The NFLN guys were saying the same as well a week ago. Maybe not "out", but at least that they would be surprised if he's the guy in the end.
