Well I don’t. My friends live in London. They’ve gone to a game before. So I guess I’ll see how it all plays out
i don't even think it's true. the offense, if healthy, should be one of the best in the league. but the defense only projects to be pretty good and that's if you assume bosa, mack, and kendricks all stay healthy and their younger players develop.
That's wild. I've been trained multiple times throughout my life and I hope I'm never in a situation where I have to use it.
Was going to sign up for the Youtube TV Sunday Ticket promo that’s still going on until the 6th. The more I look into it the more I’m unsure if I need it. Never had DirecTv but it seems as though I’ll still miss the Bengals games that I didn’t get in the past (which is like two games per year tops). Plus I’m thinking RedZone will give me what I need in terms of following for fantasy purposes.
I don’t even know what the reasoning is tbh. I live two hours north of Cincy and three hours west of Cleveland. It seems like 1-2 times per year the Browns will be on CBS at 1pm plus whatever Fox game all the while the Bengals aren’t available for me. I was told Sunday Ticket wouldn’t change that. I know next to nothing about TV markets and blackouts so maybe that’s not even true.
Gotcha. Makes sense to take that into account. Mlb tv, for example, isn’t worth it if you are blacked out locally. as an out of market fan, I think I’ll pull the trigger. But honestly RZ tends to get the job done anyway
was getting it through my friend who’s wife was in med school and got the student discount for 30 a month. unfortunately she selfishly graduated so that gravy train is done. haven’t made a plan for this year as a poor
Is Sunday ticket going to be wrapped up into the YouTube TV app directly? For example, will they show up the same way HBO channels do? It was nice on DirecTV back in the day. The only minor inconvenience was that for locally aired games you’d have to go to the local channel instead of the one next to all of the other games on the guide. Problem solved with YTTV channel customization. I had the standalone Sunday ticket app (my address qualified) last year and the app was solid but it just sucked if you wanted to flip back to the locally aired game because you have to watch that through YTTV/whatever.
nflbite.com The streams are a minute or two delayed but if you can navigate around the hentai porn pop ups, the feed is just fine. I used it the past few years in dc to stream saints games and I was never not able to get a stream
The way I understood it: The game will be blacked out on Sunday ticket if you're in the teams local market and the game is available on local TV. That's to keep the national and local carriers from being pissed about missing ad views. I could be wrong but I think that's how it works and the why.
Ohio is weird because we have 2 teams that both traditionally played on CBS. In Cincinnati you'll for sure get the Bengals, in Cleveland you'll for sure get the Browns. It's everywhere else in the state that has this issue. I'm curious if it will get better for fans "caught in the middle" of the two cities with FOX/CBS divvying up the games differently
I had the same issue week one this past season with the Falcons. For whatever reason the Jaguars were prioritized over the Falcons when they were on at the same time in the same network.
Growing up we got both the NYC and Hartford networks. Ended up getting different games quite frequently which was nice since this was before RedZone and reliable streams.
Ohio fact: I have never been to Ohio in 35 years on this earth and my work is sending me there twice in august
Shoot ya whipper snappers. I remember about 20 years back DirecTV would let you add a local network for like $5 a month. Would always add Fox Chicago for a few months. Those were the days.
I'm convinced no one on this board would admit to liking it due to the fear of backlash from the non-Ohio contingent.
I can't wait for Sunday Ticket. Tired of being forced to watch Browns games, or only one option at 4pm.
They say the secret ingredient in Skyline chili is cocoa powder when in reality it’s actually just crushed up Seroquel. Also, homemade Skyline chili dip > anything the restaurant serves.
Why wouldn’t The Lions throw a number at him especially since they have degenerate gamblers at the position
