I would not want to live next to PJ Fleck. Him and Bielema seem like they would be terrible neighbors. Bielema probably never mows his yard and Fleck is calling the homeowners association because my kids are coloring with sidewalk chalk on my driveway.
Kirk Ferentz probably gives out terrible candy to kids on Halloween, like your choice of black licorice or a popcorn ball.
Matt Rhule just moved into the neighborhood. We see a lot of contractors coming and going from his house, but no one has been invited over yet to see what he’s done to renovate.
Jonathan Smith seems like the type who would roll your cans back to the garage on trash day if you were late getting home from work.
See I’d exactly flip Fleck and Bielema from your impressions. Bert definitely has a riding mower in my mind and also hates joy.
What I learned from that video is that the coaches in the league are just like me and they can't remember who is in the conference at this point. Because I forgot UCLA and Deshaun Foster were in the league until they mentioned his name the first time.
Bert seems like the one neighbor who cuts the kids at the block party and ends up dropping one of the two overloaded paper plates he fixed for himself while he maybe brings ice, a bag of chips, or more than likely nothing at all to contribute to the spread
5 people said PJ Fleck and I thought "that makes sense". Then someone mentioned Foster and I remembered UCLA was in the B1G. So yes, I forgot.
Minnesota has no offensive weapons. They are just so limited in what they do. Missing a chip shot FG in the first half doesn’t do in most teams but it feels like it might with this Minny team
The strength of Midwest football is line of scrimmage players. B1G teams recruit to that strength and then play to that strength. It’s a combo of bad HS talent locally combined with chosen style of play by alot of the b1g programs. not many playmaker high school kids want to suit up for these types of offenses in todays football
Would love to see that stats on OL getting drafted from the B1G vs the other P4/5 conferences. I know Iowa and Wisconsin punch above their weight but do others as well?
This game really stinks. Would be a tough loss for Minny but they are extremely limited offensively again. UNC looks like they have the better team.
Homeowners association? Maybe it’s different elsewhere but that is for a way lower income level here.
Yes - many wealthy neighborhoods across the country have homeowners associations to maintain uniformity and keep the riff raff out
Neither one of the teams in the Minnesota-NC game threw the ball particularly well. NC finished 14/23 for 105 0 TD 1 int. For having what I thought would be the better OL, Minnesota didn’t really run that well.
You’ll have the chance to voice your concerns at our next monthly HOA meeting. In the meantime, remember that the neighborhood pool closes on September 3 and all trash bins must be removed from the street by 10:00 PM on garbage day.
Yeah a bunch do(lot of under recruited jumbo type farm boy athletes too). Midwest gets under rated and under recruited and there’s been studies showing it. Even at Michigan we had the Glasgow brothers(ol, dt, and lb) all 3 were walkons, all were drafted and played in the nfl. Lot of stories like that across the b1g.
I like the fick man going on 4th on his own side of the field hopefully hes ready to do it against the actual teams on the schedule as well
