Props like that are tough because of turnovers/field position plays such a big role We are due to give up some big runs, though. I think Oregon is going to spread us out and make our LBs tackle in space and they have no chance. This game feels unwinnable
QB Altmyer wins us games, but that's against teams without great defenses or good offenses. Bryant and Franklin are a good WR tandem. Dixon and Beatty have been solid role players at WR. McCray and Laughery are OK RBs. McCray can be really good when the OL creates space. TE is meh. If you get up early, you'll be able to pass rush easily and might kill Altmyer. He'll rush throws and you'll probably house one or two. He has awful pocket presence and holds on to the ball way too long. If you run a couple corner blitzes you'll probably force a fumble. OL has been average, sometimes bad. Our LBs are MAC level. DBs are solid for B10 play, but Oregon WRs are the best they'll play and probably embarrass them DL has some good players, but they're built for pass rushing. They can't stop a good rush attack up the middle. Illinois will need 3 turnovers to win. It's probably gonna be ugly. I just hope we get out healthy.
I can't believe we won that game last year Fuckin John Paddock. What a legend. Threw for like 500 the next game

are you ever not such a miserable cunt? Sorry the show that comes on at 5am where you live isnt going back to visit 2 loss Bama or back to College Station for the 2nd time in 6 weeks.
Michigan threw for 208 yards this week, which was nearly as much as Michigan threw in the three weeks before that combined. These efforts improved Michigan to a 128.3 ypg average on the season, vaulting them to 129/133 among all FBS teams in passing offense. These improvements are having a Morelli effect on the Michigan defense where iron sharpening iron in practice has led Michigan to have the 96/133 pass defense. After this week, we’re all looking for that self-imposed bowl ban before that answer to the NOA is due.
Because it is and largely has nothing to do with the however good or bad Wisconsin is. Has all the trappings of being a classic Franklining™.
Seems like Wisconsin is finally not playing terribly too. They killed Rutgers and they're not great but they also not dreadful either
Despite our very good record in white outs I'm very glad this is not one. BIG NOON! BIG NOON! BIG NOON!
He was really good against Iowa. One dumb pick but made some great plays against a very good D (with a similar profile to Michigan). More worried about our run D as we got worked on the ground against Oregon and OSU and we still gave up a big play to Iowa after mostly containing their running offense. +5 on the road feels a bit light to me but if last week’s MSU shows up then they’ve got a great shot.
It’s still a little too early to have clear title game scenarios, but it looks like any team with two losses is probably out. Oregon, Indiana and Penn State have zero conference losses. Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio State have one loss. After Illinois/Oregon and Penn State/Wisonsin play this weekend, however, there are no further games between Oregon, Penn State, Indiana or Illinois. Those four do not play each other. Ohio State still has Penn State and Indiana, but also already had one loss. Wisconsin has Oregon. We could see a lot of chaos to close the year.
