Good game buckeyes. The best team won, no doubt. I'm sad and frustrated at how the game played out. ND is a deeply flawed team, and then you deal with those injuries... But it was hard to see them tackle poorly and just generally play/coach poorly for a good chunk of that game, a lot of that is OSU's doing though. Most fun I've had watching ND in my lifetime
Day made a comment this past week about how he’s had to hold back the offense from a tempo and scheme perspective in order to get through the grind of 15+ games, and I knew at that point we were likely cooked given the governor was being taken off that offense
Yeah that was really good foresight by him, sometimes it was frustrating but it seemed to help our offense down the road. We were mostly healthy on offense other than Simmons and McLaughlin which were huge pieces for us.
CFB post mortems on this board are the worst. tOSU did what they were supposed to do, and that’s been a problem for them in recent history. ND did the best they could do, and that’s been a problem for them in recent history. Ohio still sucks and their fans are still the whitest of white trash.
I’d rather talk shit and risk looking foolish than miss the opportunity to talk shit to people I hate. Only nerds tie themselves into knots over this dilemma.
Fuck I’m a white trash nerd that some internet warrior doesn’t like, I hope you don’t expose yourself to thousands of strangers trying to cope again.
Gotta love an insecure douche bag who can’t decide between two loser Indiana schools so he roots for and talks shit on behalf of both. You really got us good this year bud!
Everyone does -- kills people, murder people, steals from you, steals from me, posts dick pictures on a college football message board for e-clout, whatever.
It seems like college football fatigue set in. My team was playing in the damn game and while I obviously thought about the game daily at times I kept forgetting there was another game. 16 hours of football over the 2 previous days obviously didn’t help. Move this shit to a Saturday where it belongs.
they obviously don't want to compete with the NFL, but playing it on a Friday ahead of the NFL slate might make more sense than having it on a work night after everyone's already spent their weekends consuming football
I know college football has no leadership and is rudderless but I find it fascinating how the NFL treats basically their minor league like absolute shit and it does not matter at all
thats just because the NFL hasnt yet seen a way to monetize the NCAA for their own profit if they do, look out
hope that there is some inability to capture streaming #s, b/c fan engagement is at a high. But do wonder if the sport hit a ceiling; and then if that ceiling is caused by NFL imperialism or CFB's own flaws like regionality.
The game had OSU as a 8-9 point favorite. We went up 31-7. Need to move it up a week, semis over the New Year holiday.
Have you guys seen any cool pieces of memorabilia? Looking to get a buckeye friend who gave me tickets to the game a thank you gift. Congrats again on the ship
I’ve seen a lot of Columbus Dispatch framed front pages on my social media feeds. You could get him one for 02, 14 & 24. I’m probably about to buy them myself once I find one I like later.
