He was very good as a freshman in the postseason but struggled a bunch last year. Seems like the biggest thing is getting his confidence back, hope it works out for him.
Thanks friend! Knew he’d visited. Didn’t expect us to land him. Root had visited too, and a bunch of folks got their hopes up on him. We don’t typically land this type of portal player.
Yeah, looking at his numbers, it seems consistency was a big issue for him. Really good or really bad but not much in between?
Kinda got forced into the Friday night starter role to begin the season and it just didn't work out. Strikeout numbers were good but he seemingly couldn't miss the barrel for a lot of his outings.
Tomorrow hoping we keep draft eligible sophmores Luke Heyman and Colby Shelton, they will take your Walmart stock in order stay at Florida make it happen bud. Spoiler They both strike out at absurdly stupid levels and while the power is there you actually have to make contact to make a difference. Still please send some NIL dollars our way please lol? [/spoiler}
bertwing apologize for tags, correct me if I'm wrong but yall do instate tuition for states connected to Arkansas right (obviously geared to Texas and that plays for baseball)? Obviously there's also the NIL which I guarentee I'm jealous as fuck of yall.
Fuck you then Was just lashing out Tennessee being committed to baseball NIL (elite return on investment all due respect) cost us a transfer guy, I need to hit Powerball to bankroll UF baseball myself
All due respect at least surface-wise yall have a decent stadium. Comparing it to our old stadium is nonsense. On our board Boo MFer! described old Mckethan as literally worse than a high school stadium and he wasn't wrong. Like would yall even build a new one or improve what's there? Went to a game at our new one in 2023 with my Dad, we had a blast even with an hour rain delay. If I had a place to crash in Gainesville I'd be there multiple baseball weekends it's a great time with cheap berm tickets.
FadeMe proclaimed on our private board he should live at the ZTA house after the regional Sunday night win or go home game in 2023, hope he gets his stuff together
No more homers off the circus tent? Well looks impressive. It took like 15 years for us to get Sully a new stadium but admittedly the wait was legit for the football facility (legit no space on campus). I love our stadium but if those drawings are legit there's more covered area which is the right move. I fucking hate Stricklin but thank god he didn't let Foley do some halfass improvements to Mckethan Stadium, was embarassing hearing SEC commentators tiptoe around it being the worst facility in the SEC. Condon Ballpark is awesome and if Sully had any doubts he would've left.
Apologize for making this about us but by that time it's entirely possible things will revert to facilities being important not the $'s the recruit's bank account. We are like 3-5 years behind the times in the SEC it explains so much any bump for our new gorgeous facility is negated but lack of high dollar NIL. YEAH IT FUCKING SUCKS
For tmb purposes you should go to an Arky baseball weekend, pick an SEC weekend we would love the content
Yeah I was going off what you posted, Jesuits locker room in the hs stadium built after I left was probably nicer.
I’m sure it was. Many of the high school locker rooms I’ve seen/been in were. It had a shitty leather couch in the middle that looked like something you’d seen that was on a front porch on a house in the student ghetto.
Completely different with portal and other stuff but weird how recruiting ranking wise has fallen off with the awesome ballpark.
Big arm, nasty slider, prone to control issues. Gets a lot of K’s and had over 100 all three years in college.
LHP Ryan Prager returning to A&M after being a 3rd round pick. Won't be surprised if A&M is preseason #1 now. No pressure on our rookie head coach
We have like 45 players on our roster right now, so there’s about to be lots of processing going on around college baseball
