This is embarrassing by Red Sox and their fans and they’ll win on something stupid this ump has been really good and that strikeout was clear as day
I’m interested to see this lineup without a catcher Boston trots out for extras Edit: Nvm forgot about Wong. But still only 2 on the bench Cora?
Idk how much of it is on Manfred. I think all of this goes back decades. Baseball going to regional networks was great for local fans but it really hurt it on national channels. People watch their team and that's it. If it's O's vs Guardian's on Sunday night baseball, only those fanbases are watching. It's not like 1990 when you only had a few games a week to watch so you'd watch whatever. So now you end up with 30 MLB networks and the top 10 have a huge following and the bottom 10 don't. And the national networks aren't really relevant.
The fact that they haven’t figured out they can turn MLB.tv into a mammoth cash cow is 100% on him. Blatantly obvious bungling.
Yea idk how that would work. The top teams want to keep all of their regional money. And like I said, people just watch their team. Yankee fans in NY aren't going to buy MLB.tv when they can watch the Yankees on YES every night. They don't care about the Cardinals game. If the Braves were still on TBS, Braves fans wouldn't buy MLB.tv to watch the Diamondbacks games. With football, there's limited games so people will watch other teams on Thursday night bc it's football. You don't really have that with baseball. There's so many chances to watch your team play baseball that most don't have a desire to watch another team bc they've already watched enough baseball that week. I can't tell you the last MLB game I turned on to watch that wasn't a Yankee game or a game I had money on.
I watch ten games a week minimum from a variety of teams but I’m also really cool (I steal the login from my cardinals fan friend who lives out of market)
It’s been a cash cow for years. They have proprietary tech for streaming that they sell to other streaming platforms.
well, it will be set by the judge. and often a company will pay your bond if you pay them 10 / 15 percent of the bond.
