I think that's kind of the point we're making. She's not terrible, she's a rookie. And the only pbp announcer to have their rookie season be in the majors On one hand people are justified in disliking the fact that there have been guys out there working the minor league circuit for decades who never get a shot, but there are male announcers that are atrocious and have been atrocious for years and aren't getting the same blowback as she is for a few bad calls Her voice is fine. Her style is fine. She just makes rookie mistakes (reacting more than anticipating, calling players the wrong name, messing up left and right) because she's not a play by play person
She’ll get much better. Just hope that they give her a chance. She was thrown into an impossible position for her first pbp job and if they fire her she won’t get another chance

She has plenty of experience broadcasting but not as play-by-play. Dumb people in hiring positions think they can translate easily but that's not always the case
I have to imagine this is the As patting themselves on the back for hiring a female announcer while also being able to pay her well under what an experienced (male) announcer would make.

the thing i like about ours is they really aren’t like some crazy concept which can lead to some absurd and funky results. just a pretty straightforward throwback to the 70s unis that i have always liked. hard to even call them city connects would love the 80s baby blues to make a return
