impressed Tigers staved off a collapse there. Bottom of Houston's lineup leaves a lot to be desired in these big moments.
My heart rate is at an unsafe level. I was complaining so much when we were bringing in Foley for the 9th when Holton had only seen one batter.
I think the plan is going to be to get 2+ out of Holton tomorrow. I would have preferred to just give him the 9th and save the other two pitchers for tomorrow, personally.
Agree. When they didn’t bring Holton out for the 9th I assumed Hinch wanted him to be the opener tomorrow. Or maybe just wait and see how the game goes and give him higher leverage innings if it plays out that way.
For those that haven’t been following KC daily (dummies imo), Long had a 5.5+ ERA in Sept, hasn’t been able to get anyone out. He’s also a loogy and they brought him in to face 2 righties. Idiotic move that someone worked.
Pretty ballsy facing Willy adames with two runners on base. We all know he’s a three run homer merchant
Watching todays game I can say with full certainty that if the White Sox played in any other division they would have been a .500 team.
Who else would you have gone to there? I think Cesar Salazar and Grae Kessinger were the only bats left on the bench
