Wonder if he gets a couple years experience then takes over for Bill Self. Could be a great hire or another Hubert Davis if he decides to take it.

Euro league wing Dame Sarr has picked up a couple crystal balls to KU. He'd be their starting SF next year and a potential future NBA player.

HC in waiting. Rumor is Self will retire in the next 2 years and this gives JV the chance to see if he's a fit for college bball. He was my favorite player as a kid (as he was for more eastern Kansas kids in the mid to late 90s). Great hire.

 

Something to follow for the sickos: seems like the NCAA is starting to make eligibility decisions on Euros. The euro guys I follow expected this kid to be one of the better ACC players at UVA but the NCAA is saying no eligibility

 

Mizzou just hired Tim Fuller to be it's GM. Only reason it's worth noting is Fuller coached at Mizzou under Frank Haith. Had to resign to escape punishment for paying players. Went to go work for Adidas grassroots for a few years. Kim English , one of the players he surely paid at Mizzou hired him last year to be on his Providence staff.

Now he's back at Mizzou getting paid to do what he got run out of the sport for. Wild how much the landscape has changed in such a short time.

that’s the way I read it… I assume the shot is now considered part of the gather/step?

 

I’m sure college basketball refs will do a good job of understanding that rule

 

I never had a strong opinion on continuation or not. But Im glad we wont have to hear Jimmy Dykes say "count the basket anyway, the rule is dumb 15x a game"

 

Pretty easy to hate on refs these days with slow-mo/review but man college basketball refs might be the worst of em all.
