If it wasn't for an extra inning loss to LSU I'd say we were one of the hottest team in the country, beat Nebraska today to take two of three from the frisco tourney
After what I saw the other night I have you guys going to Omaha if the pitching stays intact, I'd say you lsu and probably arky have been the cream so far against good teams
coming in our hitting was the concern. but guys like stokely and a few freshmen/transfers have been better than expected taking a step forward and they’re mashing. pitching is crazy deep just gotta hope for health good one this afternoon against coastal
Right now we’re a little too inconsistent. We’ve had to rely on a lot of timely hitting. A couple of our premium arms (Gaeckle, Foutch) are struggling and third starter Gage Wood is out for 3-6 weeks. Really like this team but we certainly don’t look like world beaters yet
They played a series at 3 different fields. The last game at “Stick Williams” serves as Queens home park and there was legit less than 10 people in attendance. It was like a covid game
Hell of a play at the plate in the 11th. After the way we played over the weekend, I wasn't expecting much going into it.
This weather has not been ideal for the #batcats and it makes me still old man angry that we don't start the season later
got damn BatCats is an outstanding name Gotta say, Emaw just gets down...all sports across the board fresh and original
that is the slowest man on earth. didn’t think there would even be a play. got super lucky it hit the wall
FYI but FanGraphs now has a college baseball stat database going back to 2021. Pretty neat. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/weve-got-college-data/ https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/c...tems=30&pagenum=1&groupby=&sortstat=&sortdir=
Yeahhhh the Aloy brothers are going to be a problem for the SEC this year. Kuhio now has 26 RBI in 10 games after two more homers today
